ANOTHER GAME! (Please read rules on other thread before opening this)

“It’s been seven years Sarah!” Jared screamed from the car window.

Sarah had been riding her bike down an intersection for 2 hours now with Jared following her in his car, tears where flowing down Sarah’s face as the images of her family flashed into her mind.

“Sarah! Please get back into the car, there’s nothing you can do!” Jared was trying his best to comfort her but it wasn’t working.

            Please Sarah…

Two Hours Later...

Poor Sarah. I felt so bad for her. She sat on the couch staring up at the ceiling. I brought her a cup of hot chocolate to warm her bones. She took it quietly. The air outside was very chilly and I didn't want her catching a cold.

Suddenly, her lips parted, and I waited for her to say something.

"Jared?" Sarah finally managed to whisper keeping her eyes on the ceiling.

“Yea Sarah?” I said dropping to my knees beside her.

“There dead aren’t they?” she asked removing her eyes from the upward stare and locking them on me.

I took a deep breath; we’ve been done this road before.

“Yes Sarah,” I said taking her hand. “You know this”

She became fascinated by the ceiling once again.

A few minutes later she rose from the couch.
"I'm going to bed."

Her bare feet padded off to her room, and silence engulfed me once again. I sat there, knees bent, crouched down, forehead resting on the recliner where she had been sitting. My eyes couldn't stay cloed. They stayed open, quiet tears leaking from the faucet. If time could not heal her, I didn't know what would. My lips quivered, and I prayed.
"God, if you can hear me, please save her. Just save her..."

"What do you want?" came the still small voice from somewhere in the house.

"Umm.  Who's that?"

"It's God.  What do you want?"

"God?  How can that be?  You sound so small."

"I'm small because you're small.  It's all you can handle, trust me."

"I don't believe you--" I started to say.

"Well then don't waste my time talking to me.  I'm here, I'm waiting for you to ask me what's on your mind, and you're too preoccupied with not believing in me.  I can't figure it out.  You're too young to be a hypocrite.  You're not smart enough to be a cynic.  You're not dumb enough to be an atheist.  So what do you want already?"

I dismissed the voice in my head and focused on more important matters; making Sarah feel like she was at home again. I returned to the hallway and checked in on her, but she was gone! Gone! How could she? I ran through her room checking things like the dresser and bathroom, for any of her things. If she was going to run away she would atleast take something.
