1 vampire au hc that bloodbending comes easier to waterbending vampires since what they feed off of is blood. it’s an innate knowledge that waterbending vamps seem to have or gain when they’re turned this also means that waterbending vampires are one of the most dangerous kinds of vampires aside from korra herself least dangerous types are of course non bending vamps, they don’t have any sort of special skills becuse they’re pretty much regular vampires. earthbending vampires are second to last and firebending vampires are right in the middle

2 thankfully this is all according to plan!! exactly why i said korra is the most danergous vampire there is because she’s not only a waterbending vamp (second to her in danger level becuse bloodbending) she’s also every other one at the same exact time. firebenders can sense the heat of a living thing so they can feed, kinda like snakes. and earthbenders have a seismic sense. think toph but it comes (easier)with being turned. airbending vampires, like nonbending vampires, don’t really have a special ability so they’re ranked about the same on the danger scale

3 / ptolemaea-verse lore drop: asami ISNT the first one korra reunites with when she goes back into society. instead she stays hiding in the shadows becsuse she realizes very quickly that going in the sunlight hurts pretty bad. and she also gets very *hungry* very quickly after she wakes up. she tries to eta human food but she immediately spits it back up. her senses are heightened and shes very aware of all the city animals (pigeons and such) around her and PEOPLE. but she doesn’t know why shes having these cravings until one day she sees a pigeon in the alleyway shes been hiding around in and just. goes crazy on it. f*****g DRAINS that guy. she quickly realizes that’s the reason why she didn’t want to seek out any of her friends because she was **hungry** one day after she feeds from another pigeon shes guilty as HELL and from across the alleyway she sees a person. a. person?? instinctively she wants to bite but she clenched her teeth and comes over slowly because she has a good feeling about this person. pigeon blood is dripping from her mouth and she can tell this person recognizes her and she says “before you say anything…i really need a place to stay. please”

4 / LORE DROP! the reason why korra is the most dangerous vampire is not just because she has all special skills of the bending types, but she has the avatar state on her side. if there were any instance where her avatar state were triggered, her power is likely to double its lethality. she can’t control her avatar state like she would be able to if she were human because it’s corrupted by her new instincts. and that’s why she is so so dangerous, which is why when her status is learned about, there are posters sent for her capture “WANTED DEAD OR ALIVE: AVATAR KORRA 20,000 YUAN”

5 / at some point asami does find out that she wasn’t the first one that korra went to when she came back. she finds this out through finding out somehow that reader was the one to find and allow korra into her home when she came back (yes…korra hid that part from asami. maybe not the best thing to do on her part but korra is a bit morally grey and somewhat in love with reader by this point? can you blame her for being a bit stupid) / they have a big argument about it and it’s one of the main factors that caused their eventual breakup
