Adrian: I hear the snap and have Strygius on alert. I take out my prayer beads just in case.

Celeste: I glare at him. " Don't test me."

Rood: I turn away from Celeste when I hear the snap and run towards it. Probably it was Kasumi, and if she made noise, she needed help. While running I materialized two new swords. The blade was able to be stored in the sheath, and with a spin around its axis able to be retracted.

Kasumi: I toss the broken stick back onto the forest floor and lay a hand on my katana's hilt, then race back to Einasze's side. Just as I step out of the forest and onto the path a massive golden tiger lunges from behind me, tackling me and knocking me to the ground, pinning my arms to the ground. I struggle as best I can, but I am unable to free myself. It growls long and low in the chest at me, its hungry eyes fixed on mine.

Einasze: "KASUMI!" I scream, calling up a ball of black and violet flames, throwing it at the giant beast and rushing to her aid. The tiger roars angrily, then fades into the bright sunlight, and is completely gone in just a few seconds. I gently help Kasumi to her feet and check to see if she's hurt, but she seems fine, just slightly...irritated.

Einasze: I pause a moment as I finish checking Kasumi for injuries and wonder aloud, "Why didn't that beast simply kill her? It's not like any of us could have made much of a difference and my flame attack didn't seem to do more than piss it off."

Adrian: " Took on a bit more than you could chew didn't you Kasumi." I say keeping my distance. 

Rood: I see a huge tiger returning into the forest and smile. It ignores me and we walk past each other, me returning to the path quite quickly and looking at Celeste starting to walk off. "I feel so liked," I tell her and smile.

Kasumi: I glare into the woods as the beast fades away, but I don't chose to chase it down. Instead I remain with my new friends and continue on our journey, though I begin to have a sneaky feeling that little kitty will be back to play again.

Kasumi: I walk over to Rood and offer him a bright smile, locking eyes with him for a moment, then playfully jab Celeste in the ribs with a finger, grinning wider.

Rood: Now I'm confused, and it clearly shows on my face, what was Kasumi doing?

Einasze: "She's got an odd sense of humor, Rood. But I think she was trying to say that you're her friend," I say with a grin. Kasumi meanders away slightly behind Celeste as we continue down the trail.

Coat'l: "Anyone wanna hear a good joke as we go along?"

Einasze: I groan in annoyance. "No, damn it, Coat'l, no one wants to hear your annoying joke! It's same pathetic one all the time anyway!"

Rood:"I want to hear it, jokes are always good."

Adrian: " Actually I do." I offer with smile as I ignore the Half-lings death stare.

Einasze: My eyes widen, almost pleading with him. "Please do not get--"

Coat'l: "Why'd the donkey run to the other end of the wagon trail?"

Einasze: I groan again and look like I just ate the sourest lemon in the world. "Seriously? You had to get him going? Thanks a lot!"

Coat'l: "Oh, come now, child! It's funny! Now, where was I?"

Adrian: "Donkey and a wagon trail." I tell the dragon.

Coat'l: "Oh, right! Thanks! Why'd the donkey run to the other end of the wagon trail? To get to the other side!" I burst out laughing my head off as Einasze stomps away, throwing her hands into the air in exasperation.

Einasze: "Great. Now he's going to be chuckling over that all blasted day!" I sigh, rolling my eyes. "Doesn't anyone have any other jokes he can add to his bag so stay? Anything at all? I'm practically begging because you have no idea how annoying it is to here the same foolish joke over and over every day for a whole year!"

(gtg PAUSE until I get back this time please. )

Adrian: " Nope, I don't really mind it anyway."

Rood: "Why did the chicken cross the road? To get to the guys houses. Knock, knock."
