I wrote a song about love once and one line has echoed in my mind over the years:

  Well said Felioness, "It takes courage to love; to open your heart and soul, exposing youself." I know! I hide; stay isolated from the world to keep my heart secure. I have never been heartbroken; however, I give my heart to those that I love. It doesn't really matter what they have done, it is easy for me to forgive the act and forget the intent. I truly don't know if that is a blessing or a curse or maybe just both. With that been said, I am always aware of who I love. For love is blind and sometimes can hide the truth inside. I believe that everybody is worthy of love, regardless of who that person is. "It is easier to love from afar when you have a wounded heart afraid to take a chance ... afraid to get hurt yet one more time." It is easier, but is not as satisfies as facing your own fears.
