Metametals, apparently...6 Years Agoso this is something i wrote on the talking doc, thought that i should share it here
i think that seraphimbia should have been working with the metametals (oo, new name, me likey) (like photonium, umbranium, and their ilk) Since Darkling stole DC Jay’s cryokinetic sword, I was thinking that he stole it from Darknight, who stole it from Manipulator, who stole it (among other things) from Seraphimbia when he was kicked out What do you think?also I think that they should have been experimenting with something called omniranium, which possesses whatever kinetic power the person has The swords/weapons should be able to store the person’s power, little bits at a time, which the user can then access later, when their power is drained, as a last resort Maybe the weapons should be made of omniranium instead of the other metametals... (like omnikinesis) |

Re: Metametals, apparently...6 Years AgoThat's coool =D but maybe the omnithing (forgot already) should be really hard to make weapons out of or something, or maybe it only works with certain people, so weapons made of it aren't used all the time?

Re: Metametals, apparently...6 Years Agoi think that it'll be just really really rare
also i think that seraphimbia had just discovered it when manipulator was in charge, so no one really knows about it |

Re: Metametals, apparently...6 Years AgoCool =D but there should be metals like photonium and umbranium that have elemental-specific properties. Ex. pyronium would be resistant to heat and fire or something, cryonium and aquanium don't rust and are resistant to cold, et cetera.

Re: Metametals, apparently...6 Years Agophotonium - a light-infused metal that is able to absorb some of the effects of shadow-based attacks, based on the strength of will of the wielder. Stronger than ordinary metals, but the rarest of the elemental metals.
umbranium - a shadow-infused metal that is very strong. Can absorb some of the effects of light-based attacks, based on the strength of ambition of the wielder. The second-rarest of elemental metals. cryonium - an ice-infused metal that is able to absorb some of the effects of fire-based attacks, based on the mental strength of the wielder. Stronger than normal metals, and resistant to cold and rusting. (Jay's sword is made of cryonium in DCT) pyronium - a fire-infused metal that is very strong. Can absorb some of the effects of ice-based attacks, based on the physical strength of the wielder. Resistant to heat and melting. Basically, for every elemental metal, the strength of the absorption abilities depend on the strength of one asset of the wielder. |

Re: Metametals, apparently...6 Years Agodid i miss something bc i dont know what the acronym DCT stands for

Re: Metametals, apparently...6 Years Agodarkness complete timeline
and jay, i was thinking that the metametal weapons focus, amplify, and store bits of the user's power store as in store for later, like fat, so if you're out of power, or need more, you can use the stored bits as a last resort |

Re: Metametals, apparently...6 Years Agoso i guess you could just add like the latin prefix of an element to ium and bam, there ya go, a metametal
|
|
Re: Metametals, apparently...6 Years AgoThat would be cool too, I'm just making some descriptions for element-specific metals that will probably be changed later, just trying to get a base description...
