Re: Thangs and Stuhff

what

Re: Thangs and Stuhff

I had a dream, a vision... of Wilson and Peri as griffins... it was awesome

Re: Thangs and Stuhff

Well i mean she could theoretically shift into a griffin... she is 1/4 shifter

#Peregrinilson is real

Re: Thangs and Stuhff

XD i guess so

Re: Thangs and Stuhff

. . . how many ships are we going to have that we're going to make alternate timelines for?
PEREGRINILSON TIMELINE YESSSSSSSSS

Re: Thangs and Stuhff

well i mean
that's what the deviant timelines are for, right?
also, i don't think that we should call them metas or metahumans or mutants because that's stealing from dc and marvel
i suggest freaks, abnormalities, or deviations. i like deviations best

Re: Thangs and Stuhff

DEVIATIONS YAS

Re: Thangs and Stuhff

awww i thought we had that all figured out
but isn't mutant just a general term?

if we have to change it well crap imma have to change pretty much the whole worldbuilding doc

Re: Thangs and Stuhff

we use them differently....

Re: Thangs and Stuhff

after some research, i found that metahuman isn't trademarked, so we can use it
but mutant is trademarked, so we have to change that common name
i like variants or deviants

Re: Thangs and Stuhff

my favs are deviations or maybe variants

Re: Thangs and Stuhff

yeah but the thing is variants isn't something that people would come up with to call them
maybe the government called them 'genetic deviations' at first, and the public shortened it to deviants? and some people call it different things
well, even though metahumans isn't trademarked, metagene probably is because I stole the whole idea of a 'metagene' determining powers and such from dc, it's a recurrent thing, so I don't think that we can do metahumans
maybe that's what Seraphimbia calls it, but I don't think that the public should call them metas.

Re: Thangs and Stuhff

true... so deviants.
Yay!

Re: Thangs and Stuhff

yeah but some of my seraphimbians are going to call them deviations

i doubt that it is.
the term metahuman and metagene are so general that we could probably get away with using them
and we probably wont mention anything nitty-gritty on visology anyway, and thus not use the word metagene that often
i also read a couple things that may indicate that it isn't
"It should also be noted that DC does not use the "metagene concept" as a solid editorial rule..."
soo *shrug* what else can i say

Re: Thangs and Stuhff

just that they've used it in both their cartoon young justice and their tv show the flash, which are completely unrelated

Re: Thangs and Stuhff

i've actually seen metahuman in several places unrelated to DC

Re: Thangs and Stuhff

like what?

Re: Thangs and Stuhff
