Madden 22 information continues to be revealed. EA posted a comprehensive video on the improvements made to Madden 22's franchise mode one week after the reveal and the first trailer.

Thanks to the game's makers, after players expressed their displeasure about the franchise mode's absence in the last game, the Madden team promised improvements for this year's version of the game. Based on the video of five minutes EA released on Tuesday, that promises have been delivered, with the mode getting an overhaul of its entirety...

This is certainly a solid start; but, hopefully the game is what it is and the mode will continue to attract this kind of attention in the days to follow. To provide gamers with a more real-life experience from the franchise, i have some ideas.

Over the past decade, Madden players have been begging to be assistant coaches. They finally made their return this year. But it doesn't look like those assistants won't have any effect on the way a team plays this is a disappointment.

Instead, the assistants will largely provide boosts for the development of players as well as specific situations during games, like red zone or third down plays.

While coordinators are certainly able to play a role in these areas in the real world the most significant task they perform is generally play-calling. However, this isn't going to be a part of the game this year.

The screenshot indicates that Matt Nagy has an offensive and defensive playbook. If the Bears made a change in their defensive coordinator, it will most likely not impact their scheme of defense. The possibility that a team's game plan might be changed due to personnel firings or hirings is a pleasant addition and could add some an element of variety to the user experience.

It's almost impossible to capture the game-planning elements of football in a realistic manner. So, it's difficult to put the blame on Madden developers for deciding to create a system with attributes in-game boosters for specific play types.

A winning game plan will do not make players more adept at certain aspects of the game. Instead, it puts the player in positions which help him perform his job better through play-calling. If my corner isn't able to stop their best receiver from getting away It doesn't matter how much we concentrate on man coverage that week, we're probably not likely to be able to play a lot of Cover 1.

One way to capture that more realistically is to require players to reduce the formations and plays they're required to select from in a game. If you're faced with a team that is great in defending runs outside of the zone and one day you could opt to add more plays that involve outside zone running in your game plan.
