I Owe You

By night the moon will light our way,
the sun provides us light by day.

Without a light we cannot see
and stumble blindly in the dark
to get to where we want to be.

Though other senses may assist
it is our eyes we use the most.
When night or darkness will persist.
The we discover we are lost.

We need a sign that we can see ,
a beacon that will guide our way.
A certain symbol that will mark
our passage through the mirk and mist,.
For which we�ll gladly pay the cost.
