Sci-fi Horror Forum What are Flags?

You'll see it up on the group or writer's profile. The little red flag that says 'Flag Writer' or 'Flag Group'; what's it for? I know it sounds a little naive but I'm still pretty new here (I think) and haven't explored the depths of Writer'scafe yet. Anybody who would like to tel me, please do.
