I think we can all agree that WritersCafe is a great site to put writing out into the world, but it doesn't always offer the best constructive advice. Exchanging writing online is a good place to start, but at some point, you need to communicate with other writers in person. That's the idea behind this group! All writing, writers, or editors near the Stony Plain/Spruce Grove area are welcome! Bring a copy of your manuscript, poems, or even just an idea, and be prepared for real constructive criticism. Or just come for fun to see what it's all about! Join the group to stay in the loop, voice your opinion, and connect with nearby writers. CURRENTLY LOOKING FOR INPUT! We need to revamp this group. Originally, meetings were set up through the public library to be at 2PM on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month. For many people, this isn't a feasible meeting time. SO! We need to know when works for you; what day(s) of the week or month are best for you? What time(s) of day? Is the Stony Plain Public Library the best spot, or do you have better suggestions? Please, post your opinions. If no one shows up then the group doesn't work so speak honestly about what will work for you! |
