want to know what other romantic writers think about this question that a friend of mine asked me.
my friend is trying to write a romance scene in one of their stories, but they have never even had their first kiss and isn't sure if they should give up on writing romance until they acquire more personal experience or if they should keep writing and just imagine what they think it would feel like...
what do you guys think?

I think that even if one hasn't received a kiss they can still capture the essence of the romance in a scene. If they can picture/imagine it in their mind then they will be able to use those feelings to put into the scene and down on paper. But i will say that nothing beats experiance.

I have to agree, nothing beats the expeirence and to grasp the true nature of romance you genarlaay need to go through it yourself, however, romance is inside everyone and as long as they can image how the imagine it would go then i think they should be fine to write it anyway
