My Character/World - September/Earth 2020 (-ish)

Year - 2020

Hometown - Special, Washington  (Small town outside of Vancouver)

Car - Mustang Hybrid.  (Many of the non-hybrids were banished and destroyed)

Age - 26

Gender - Female (obviously....well, maybe)

Description - I'm about 5'10 and weigh about 160 pounds.  I'm slender but have some muscle definition (I workout at least three times a week).  I have long (to my waist) straight red hair.  Green eyes.

Family Background - Since I was born in the month of September my parents had the bright idea to make that my name.  I loathe the name, because I always felt that it set me apart from the rest of my friends and family.  It was a name that was uniquely mine.  No one else, anywhere, in my hometown had the name.  Again, this set me apart.  When I reached the age of 15 my mother said that she'd allow me to change my name.  For the next month I tried different names, but nothing felt right and I went back to September.  My mother's name is Angelica (after some famous actress).  When I was younger she was a stay at home Mom.  Now, she works for the same company as my dad, as his secretary.  My father's name is Brandon and he is the president of a rather large hot tub firm.  I have numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.  No on in my family has dies, except for pets.  I even know my great-great grandparents.  They are wonderful people who are still very active.  I have no siblings and my parents keep trying, even though they're in their 60s.  I told them that it was really disgusting and to adopt.  They just laughed.

Occupation - I work as a photographer for a catering company that tries to prove that it can do anything, not just make excellent food.  The company offers a package deal of food, drink, pictures and music if you bundle it all together...and if you know someone who works for them, which just about everyone in the town does (it's a small town in Washington) than they give you a discount.  Surprisingly they make some good money.  Word of mouth has spread and we even do out of town weddings and parties.

Marital Status - I'm married to one of the Disc Jockeys for the catering company.  We met while working on a wedding together.  We dated for 3 years before getting married, going with the company that got us together for our wedding. The wedding was beautiful.  My husband Barry and I wrote our own vows and he looked so handsome.

Children - Not yet. We've been married for 5 years and only started trying recently.

Friends -

Mine - My best friend (after Barry) is Candence.  She's a lovely girl that I grew up with.  Been my best friend for years.  Don't know what I'd do without her.  There's Hannah and her husband Martin.  Also, Melanie and her husband Max.

Barry - He says he doesn't have a best friend (though I think that's because he doesn't want to admit that I'm his best friend).  He's friends with Max and Martin.  Then there's George and Drew.  Also, Justin and Nick.

World - Like predicted in many books, psychic powers are the norm now.  I came into mine when I witnessed a gruesome murder.  I can see the future, help other psychis  figure out what their powers are, and move objects with my mind.  Also using many fossil fuels are outlawed.  There's still electricity, as long as it's solar or hydro powered.  There's still a few oil fields around, for trading.  If you want kids you have to petition for them to prevent over-population, that law had a big fight on it's hands.   If you have more than what you're allowed you are forced to give the baby up for adoption to a childless couple.  Women can make a career of this, I don't think I could do that.  Sometimes the current state of the world seems so cruel and hostile to me at times.  Other times it makes sense.  We saved what was left of the ozone layer...there aren't as many lawbreakers now.

The prisons aren't over crowded.  Bad as it sounds we took the really violent and most dangerous criminals and gave them a choice...death or they could be integrated back into a society that would probably kill them on sight.  All of them chose death.  Gay men and women are allowed to get married, legally.  One person finally stood up and was listened too when she said that it was a step in the right direction.  She didn't give up until the lawmakers did what she wanted.  They can adopt children as well, like any other regular couple.
