I yank an arm up, ripping the sleeve on the arrows, then reach over and yank out the others, then reply between gritted teeth "Yep, because every amazeing person gets a knife to the gut." I wince as I get up, waveing away the hands that were reached down to help me "It's a knife to the gut, not a life-threatening injury." I straiten despite the pain and hold my hand, slightly bloody, I realise, out to Raina "Congrats, no hard feelings for the knife, darts, and the admittedly underhanded move with the rope, right? Because I'd hate to be on your bad side."

Raina: my mind snaps back to reality "it wasn't underhanded, it was clever" I smile "can I ask you something?"not waiting for a reply "would you ever consider joining lady Artemiss hunters?" I asked "I'm sure I could talk to her but it would be an honor to serve beside you" I bow "think about it" I say as I leave, heading towards lady Artemis "Milady" I dip before turning and standing beside her "she's interesting that one" I say mindlessly.

I watch as she walks off, then give my head a slight shake as I walk over to my things. I take off the chainmail and look at it askance. "This isn't going to d much good for anyone until it's patched up." I look down at my blood on it "Not to mention cleaned." I fold it and set it next to the other peices of armor they had set out for me. I replace all of my other daggers and reach to unwrap the peice of cloth from around my forhead, winceing as the wound stretches. I get it off and set it with everything else, my hair tumbleing about my face. "Gee wilacers! Where can a girl get a hairband around here?" I exclaim "I've mighty tempted to just hack off my hair at the nape of my neck." I growl to myself. Flicking my hair over my shoulder I turn to go get my dagger that Raina had pulled out of her leg.

Stashia-I am brought to the healer's tent along with raina and antheia."That was intense!,"I exclaim"battling is not really my strong suit,nice move with the arrow raina"i tell her.I'm not really in it for the glory,I just wanted to make it to battle royale" but my mind is really on the god parent announcement. Aphrodite-After the girl's wounds are treated they are brought out to the ceremonial platform."we will start with the non-battle royale contestants"I begin to read the names off the list.once they are all read I move on to anthaia's and stashia's god parent's."for once in the history of the games two contestants have the same god parent,"the crowds applauds until silenced"The god parent of Antheia and Stashia is..." Stashia-I look over at antheia and smile,she smiles back and i hold my breath as aphrodite finishes the sentence.

CC: Actually, it couldn't be Artemis, she took a vow to never marry and stay a maiden forever (A.k.a. a virgin) so it isn't possible.

CC: All the others are good. Antheia: I step forward before she can announce anyone's parent "Pardon me." I say to Aphrodite "But I'd rather not know. No offense to whoever it is, but I'd just feel better not knowing. Besides, they're better off not claiming me, just like I'm better off not knowing." I hear a gasp from the onlookers and ignore them "If you'll excuse me," I turn and begin to walk off "I'll be going elsewhere for a while."

Raina: "Antheia" I call "your nickname suits you, I'm sure lord Hermes would be so proud of who you have become despite what you've done in the past" I nod before turning back

Aphrodite-I am speechless. Stashia-I follow Antheia and I laugh as i see the shocked faces of the crowd.Athropia and Arsen keep anyone from following us."you okay?" I ask.

Raina: "Don't looked so shocked lady Aphrodite you might ruin your beautiful image" I smirk

Aphrodite-"hardly,"i tell raina,"I just don't understand..."

Raina: "she's afraid" I say "she doesn't want to know, worried about disappointing her god parent, not being what they hope she would be or not even mattering to them, she's afraid that even she might be disappointed about who her god parent is" I explain "how would you feel if let's say you were really good at surfing, you were so proud of how good you were, how hard you worked for it just to find out that your father is Posiedin" I say " it hurt to figure out that it was never you but the power that you had gained from one of your parents"

Aphrodite-"i see,"I say  ,"and how did you feel when you discovered i was your god parent?"

Raina: "annoyed" I admitted "people treated me differently, thought of me as less intelligent treated me as useless, helpless, it angered me and when something went wrong in their relationship it was me they blamed for their failure instead of themselves" I rolled my eyes "it irritated me so when lady Artemis offered me a place with her I accepted it, it was a way to prove to not only everybody else but to myself as well that I wasn't stupid, or useless or pathetic" I sighed "that I could do what they could do, and that I could do it better than they could and I could do it without all of their special powers, I could prove that I was worth something, and lady Artemis taught me how to rely and trust people that who my god parent was didn't matter. She cares for me and appreciated everything that I have to offer her"

I shake my head "I'm fine, I just don't want to know, is that so odd? I've been by myself except for friends my whole life, I don't feel like changeing that now. If you'll excuse me, I'll be doing something," I pause "alone." I put my stuff in Hermes cabin and head down to one of the practice arenas. I sigh and stand in the middle of it for a bit, then assume a defensive position. I had learned martial arts by looking in on a class. I then persuaded the owner, who was also the head instructor, to try me out. I'd then done private classes with him and passed his courses. I still practiced my forms every day. I begin slow and escalate in skill and rapidity. I end the set and go on to the next set, a slightly advanced one. I grab a staff from a barrel and use it to make it harder to do the fluid forms, counter-balanceing myself to make it more of a challenge.

Searia: "impressive" I smile as I step out from the shadows "you were incredible during the games I don't think I've ever seen any camper that skilled when they first arrive" I exclaim

I stop and turn twards the voice, staff at the ready position, then relax when I see it's just another camper. "Thanks, you've got to be on gaurd where I'm from. If you can't defend yourself...well," I shrug, putting the staff back where it belongs "you might as well kill yourself and get it over with."

Searia: I nod "understandable" I lean agains a nearby rock "but still you excell far beyond an average mortal"

"Well, lets just say I've had to learn that kind of stuff if I wanted to make it far in my, um, profession." I grab my backpack from where I had placed it earlier and begin to walk out of there "Anyhow, I'll see you around, maybe." Arsen melts out of the shadows and joins me. As we walk he growls at any who come to close. I scratch behind his ears "Thanks, Arsen." I go to the camp store and buy some things I'd need, chief of which was a package of hairbands. I place everything back in the cabin and look around "What to do and where to go?" I ask myself

Artemis- Apollo and I had walked over to Raina and Aphrodite. "You sure gave a good show dear one." I say ruffling her hair like always. "A wonderful job indeed." Apollo nods in agreement with me. I look at Raina. "But im curious did you ask Antheia what I wanted you too? About joining us?"
