Esther: I pull on James arm to make him stop once we are there, "Are you sure this is a good idea. Bringing her here like this?" I ask in concern, "Hanzi isn't stupid, he knows Victoria is rotten to the core... I'm just afraid bringing her here might turn out bad." I look around worriedly, "You don't understand Hanzi position..." ---- Hanzi: I clear my throat and call attention to me by lightly tapping on my glass. When the room had gone quiet I smile to everyone, "Thank you all for coming tonight," I start, "As you know, just a short while ago I was let in on the little secret of just whom I was to you all. Imagine my surprise that I was really the Heir to the throne. I am grateful to all, who have accepted me in as your ruler, whether is be quickly or more cautiously. It is a big thing so me to say that I am proud to be the King of sure a fine and powerful realm... however, that is not why I have called you here today..." I smile as Victoria appears at my right hand side, "Today is not just a celebration of our nation, but of an engagement between the Royal House and the House of Smith." I hear a roll of clapping as the purebloods break out in excited chatter, it wasn't often vampires got married and this would mean the expectancy of an heir. Victoria: I was swept aside by a relative and other Ladies. Happy chatter and planning to do. However I wasn't really calm just yet, this had happened before after all.

Luna: I hang my head when I see how he looked at her, he looked at her the same way he once looked at me. I quickly turn away and head towards the garden "who am I to expect that someone like him would actually love me" a tear slides down my cheek as I hea down towards the hedge maze that they had James: "I know full well what position he's in" I sigh "but I also remember who that girl is" I smile "I know that if I didn't bring her here she would just find another way in" I point out "here I can at least try to protect my daughter" I shrug "after all I have been her father for over a millennia now" I smile "and like any father I just want her to be happy"

I clench my fists and fight from yelling at everyone to stop where they were. *Luna, I'll be with you in a moment.* I glare at Hanzi and send him a message *You completely idiotic imbecile!* I yell *I can't believe you! You are a horrible, cruel, dispicable person! You just announced your engagement to a complete witch in front of the girl who you told you loved, who waited for you for all that time.* I send him an iage of her face when she had heard him make the announcement *You finally notice her and make her dreams come true, then you do this? You just broke Luna's heart, you snake! I will talk to you in depth about this later, but right now, I'm going to comfort Luna, the girl who really loves you!* I sever the connection and storm off, fighting the urge to beat Victoria's bratty little butt into the next millenia. I find Luna and just hug her, knowing words wouldn't help. "I'm going to talk to Hanzi and knock some sense into him." I wisper feircely after a bit "Then, I'm going to get that little witch! And that's not a threat, that's a promise!" 

Esther: I shake my head, "Hanzi, the moment he found out that he was the King, had no decision in his fate." I say watching the scene unfold. "Once he has solid control over the throne he may be able to shove Victoria aside, but he needs her to make unity in the nobility... She knew this would happen. That's why his mother didn't want him to know... that's why she hide it from him at all cost." --- Hanzi: I flinch at the images but remain calm on the outside, Victoria was the key to everything and I needed the unity so that I could make this place better. "Darling," Victoria said venturing over, "They want to know dates, seeing as this is the engagement party I suppose everything will move along quite quickly?" I smile and nod "Yes. As quickly as my time will allow." The nobles nodded in approval then went into much more detail about how they expected the wedding to be.  

Luna: "no don't..." I smile slightly "let him be, it isn't worth it" I brush my hair out of my face "if he chose her over me than he belongs with her I was the idiot who thought he could love a girl like me" I walk back in, unafraid I walk over to Hanzi and Victoria and curtsy low and respectfully, I keep my head bowed as is custom when normally dealing with purebloods for someone of my level "congratulations" I speak softly trying to keep my voice from wavering "I wish you both well, and pray that you both will lead us well"

Hanzi: "Luna, I-" "Don't worry, we plan to have a long prosperous reign," Victoria says cutting across me, "After all, we are very suited for each other, isn't that right Beth?" She was addressing one of her friends who agreed enthusiastically and kind of did this cross between a smirk and a grin... it was quite frightening to look at...

Luna: "a perfect match, a match made in heaven" my words come out forceful and I can hear the pain in each of them "please excuse me" I curtsy "I'm afraid that just like my namesake on this beautiful new moon night that I must also dissappear" I bow

I watch from afar, I didn't trust myself to go back in there and stay calm. I look around and find a bench, sit on it, and make sure no one is around. I close my eyes and begin to mentally search for people. I check the gardens *Alone, for now.* I continue on to the ballroom, trying not to brush against Luna, the feelings she was haveing were really personal. I pay attention to Victoria *Contempt, superiority, triumph, and...fear?* I look closer and realise that she's afraid of Luna *She still sees her as a threat. She's afraid that she'll take Hanzi away again.* I delve deeper, fighting not be noticed *Or that we'll find out about...him. Him?* I pluck a memory of "him" from her, it was a guy talking on the phone *I've heard that voice before, but where?* I withdraw from her and come back to myself, putting my head in my hands as a headache starts up.

Trent:I watch from the rafters as te party goes on

I search through the ballroom again, then stop as I sense someone new. I "look" up and brush against the guy who had hurt Luna. I pull myself away and back to myself. *What's he doing here?*

Trent: "I'm so bored" I mutter "I hate how impacient I am" I lie down on my back on the beam.

I take a deep breath, then send the guy a message *I know you're there.* I tell him *Now, I'd like to know what you're doing here, because, if I remember correctly. you're just a Halfling.*

Trent: "oh little one there is so much more to me that you don't know" I laugh "I'm more than a halfling"

*Oh, yeah, I'm sorry, I forgot.* I say sarcastically *You're a Halfling with an oversized ego who gets on my nerves. So sorry I forgot to mention that bit.*

Trent: I smirk "cute... You'll see just exactly who I am soon enough little one" I sneer

*Oh, I already see that you're a venomous snake, sorry, but there's no hideing that. Now, if you'd like to continue this conversation, could we please do it face to face? Usually I'd do my best to avoid looking at your ugly mug, but I'm getting a killer headache. So, let's either wrap it up or talk for real.*

Esther: I sigh and let go of James arm, "You are the elder here," I state, "But I wonder if you know what you're doing." Hanzi: I force myself not to flinch slightly but give Victoria a smile, "Shall we dance?" I ask softly, "This is a rather good song."

Trent: "I would love to stay and chat but I fear I have an appearance to make" I grin as I drop down from the rafters landing on the Dias in front of the two thrones "I just hate these things don't you" I look at some shocked guests "it's really a shame isn't it Hanzi, you force yourself to smile and act like the good obedient cold heartless little prince these purebloods want you to be, you've become exactly what your mother was trying to protect you from becoming" I laugh "the ironic part is that the only person who shows you who you really are, who makes you te type of person your mother wanted you to be, the one who make you an honest kind hearted and respectable man you pushed that one person away.... And turned her into the exact same person you're pretending to be, and the worst part is she came here tonight to see if there was maybe some sort of sliver of hope that maybe you still loved her that maybe there was a reason for your engagment to the one person who always tried to keep you apart, and you brushed her aside, it's wonderful really because nothing is more tainted spiteful black and filled with anger and pain than a girl with a broken heart, truly I have never seen anything more beautiful than the look in that girls eyes when I tried to kill her and now she'll look at you with the same hateful stare" I sat down in the kings throne Luna: I got lost in the maze, everywhere I turned was just another dead end and the pain in my heart just kept on building up

Hanzi: "Luna is aware of my duties to the throne," I state, "A throne in which you should not be sitting in, Halfling." I glimpse Victoria trying to disappear in the corner of my eye and let her go, "Seeing as you've decided to show your face in front of me, at last might I add. I'd like to have a private word with you; in a more private place." I gesture for him to move toward my office, "If you will." I kept a calm look on my face, emotionless and diplomatic. If he was going to play oh holy ruler I could easily play that game as well; seeing as I actually was a king. ---- Esther: *Find Luna* I heard Hanzi say into my head and make a face. I really wanted to support everyone but I wasn't good at this drama stuff. I head out the back in search of Luna. Besides, I wasn't really liking the attitude that Hanzi was showing right now. He... he was really turning into a Pureblood King. But was that for better or worse?

Trent: "I may not have been born a vampire like you but your mother made me what I am today" I growl "I was a prince like you but your mother took that away from me after she turned me my family wanted NOTHING to do with me, they banished and disowned me" I snapped "but your mother took me in treated me like a son, but I could never match up to you, no matter what I did she would always love you more because you were her actual son even after you were gone she still compared me to you, nothing I did was good enough, you were always better" I hiss as I stand up "eventually I got used to always being told that I wouldn't ever compare to you but one night she came to me and apologized saying that she had made a mistake in turning me that I could never be as good as my older brother that I could never be as good as you! So the night that she tried to kill me I killed her, and I vowed from that day on to take everything that you love an hold dear to you to take it ALL away from you just like your mother did and just like you did" I smirk " I was originally going to just kill off Luna and take your throne and imprison you but after some thought I decided to just take some of Luna's blood and use it to my advantage" I grinned "did you know if a Vampire ingests another vampires blood they can completely control them?" I asked "it's rather useful I must admit the only downfall is when a halfling ingests a purebloods blood it doesn't work due to the purebloods blood being to well pure" I laugh "but what if let's just say Victoria ingested Luna's blood well then Luna would be completely under her control" I sneer "of course that's just a backup I'm hoping Luna will hate you so much she tries to kill you herself even if that is highly unlikely" Luna: I lean against a shrub and shake my blood heating up and my adrenaline pumping faster
