Hanzi: I look at Luna in surprise, "Your friend?" Faen: I blush, "Uh... yes..." I say fiddling with my sleeve, "I... um... well you see I was in the ball when all of you left and... you see Victoria... she's not happy and so we got to thinking and..." I look up at the vampire who was raising an eyebrow at me and blush. I wasn't able to go on, all the words were stuck in my throat.

Luna: "it's alright Faen, you can tell us anything, we aren't going to judge you, there is no need to be so worried"

Faen: "I wanted to know... if perhaps you're more powerful in the vampire world then you've been telling them..." I stare down at the ground as my face flushes a deep red, "It might be the reason why Victoria is so protective over you...?" Hanzi: I shrug, "I'm not sure..." I say, "I suppose my father would know, but I haven't talk to him in awhile and even if I could find him. I doubt he'd tell me anything. He's always been one to withhold information."

Sara: "wait who is your father?" I asked "as long as I've known you I for think I have ever met him"

Hanzi: "My father?" I say looking at her, "Lord Carthage, he's a pretty powerful man in the Council or at least he was before he hit the release age and dropped out of the Council all together. He basically went off the grid since then so it's only natural you don't know him." I shrug, "Maybe you'll meet him in the future. He tends to pop in now and again."

Luna: "Bryce aren't we learning about him in our ancient history class?" I asked confused

Hanzi: "Well that's only natural," I say with a smile, "My father was a pretty important guy like I said. He had a lot of do with the running of the Elders when the Council was in it's golden ages. He took over after the last King disappeared." Faen: "Carthage, isn't that... a really old name?" I ask thinking back to history class. Most students took Vampire history because the vampires ruled much of the known and unknown world today.

Luna: " he took over due to the last kings disappearance, after his wife's death and his sister went underground right after her husbands disappearance" icrepeat remembering part of what our textbooks said

Hanzi: "Yeah," I say with a nod, "but I don't understand. What does that have to do with anything? Victoria was the one who took over after my father." I look around at the others. "Am I missing something here?"

Sara: "who are Victoria's parents?" I asked out of curiosity

Hanzi: "The Lord and Lady Oshi," I say, "They basically raised me when my father went off the grid... I even took over the company for a few years when I was young and unable to join the council."

Sara: "that's it, Victoria isn't the rightful leader of the Vampires and she knows it!" I proclaim

Hanzi: "So... that still has nothing to do with me..." I say a bit confused now.

Sara: I facepalm "your aunt was married to the king that disappeared, she was queen of the vampires until she went underground, handing the throne over to her brother.... Your father, when he left the council and went underground the throne rightfully belonged to you but Victoria took advantage of your ignorance and used it to gain control of the throne"

Hanzi: "My aunt?" I say raising an eyebrow, "She was killed before I was born." I look around at the others, "You realize how crazy this sounds right?"

I walk through the woods and consider everything that had gone on since I'd come to the school. *Why do I still have my mask on?* I reach up to undo it, but I decide not to to. *Might as well keep it on.* I look around and make sure no one's there to see. I close my eyes and breath out, allowing all of my elemental-ness come through. My hair came undone and settled messily, but I didn't mind, it felt good. I knew I looked different, but that was the point, wasn't it? Me wanting to be different. A while into my walk I realise something. "What I did to Victoria could shut down the school!" I stop and sink to the ground "What was I thinking? Oh, yeah, right, I wasn't thinking!" I lean back against a tree "Why do these things always happen?"

Faen: "it does sounds bit out there," I say, "I mean the last vampire king disappeared years ago."

Luna: "but it would explain why Victoria is so attached to you, she doesn't want you to know and it would explain why the other purebloods and even other supernatural creatures look up to you respect you and accept you without any reason" I point out "we need to research this more thoroughly

Hanzi: I shake my head, "You guys are letting the party air get to your head." I say, "I'm going back inside to make sure everything's alright." I turn and head back inside in disbelief. They really thought I was some heir to the vampire throne... I think my dad would tell me about that little piece of information. Faen: I watch him go and look at the others, "I think we made him mad..." I say slowly, "Or at least upset."

Luna: he had just told me how he really felt about me and I had already driven him off. Sighing I bid my good nights and excused myself for the evening Sara: " I think I'm going to go join Kay out in the woods" I beamed "this'll be my first time changing since I was turned" I say excitedly as I race off towards the woods
