Keeva: "we'll be I the treehouse," I say "besides. He seems to jump to conclusions pretty fast." I look at tris and then back at the Roe guy, "you threatened my friend." I look him up and down, "besides, I'm not armed and I'm prefectly fine." We'll it wasn't like I had to worry, I could learn and predict a move by just watching someone fight for a few seconds.

I give Keeva a look that clearly said shut it for now "Okay, Keeva, we'll meet you up there." I call down the vine and send her up, then turn to Roe "Sorry about that," I tell him "I think we're all still a bit off-kilter after all we've been through." "Yeah, well, lets head inside and we can talk more there." He suggests. I smile "Sure thing." I wistle and we both get on the same vine, heading up laughing like we always did.

Keeva: I throw my bag on the table and plop down on the couch pulling out my notebook and pen. Fixating on the page I begin to draw, it was just the waterfall I had past on the way back so it wasn't terribly informational but I made sure to put as much detail into it as possible. The plants, water, rocks, even sky. I made sure everything was perfect. I wanted to as Mae about a few of the plants but she would need to see them so I decided a picture was best. I had also collected leaves, flowers, and other samples that were in my bag. I'd set them up in my room later and study them.

"Hi Keeva." I say as I plop down next to her on the couch. Roe drops into an armchair and makes himself comfortable. "Hey, how did you escape those Seekers anyways?" he asks "I mean, if anyone could it would be you. I know you know more than them about the forest, so it'd be easy for you to lose them after you got away, but what did you do?" he asks eagerly "Knock 'em out? Go all wild on 'em? How'd you get away before they got you to Maewell?" I look down at my hands, smile vanishing "I didn't." I tell him softly "I didn't get away before they got me to Maewell." He straitens in his chair "What?" he exclaims

Keeva: I flip to the next page in my notebook and quickly draw Maewell, "How do you think we met?" I ask holding up the picture for him to see, "we escaped together." I had drawn a picture of the switch room with windows overlooking a great yard. You could see two figures running toward the gate. It had been what I saw when I went to turn of the power. I point to one of the figures then the other as I say, "Mae. Tris." and then turn the notebook back around and start back up on my waterfall picture.

He jumps out of the chair "You what?" I stand up and face him "I escaped with the help of two girls: Keeva and Tris." I tell him calmly "We cut off the power and climbed the fence, I held back the wire as they got over, I got cut a little, but it was nothing serious." I explain. He grabs my hands and turns them palms up "What are these burn marks from?" he demands "Did those Seekers do this to do?" I shake my head, trying and failing to pull my wrists out of his grasp "No, it's nothing."

Keeva: "Geez, She fine and she safe," I say dryly as I look him over, "Shouldn't that be the important part?"

Roe- I shoot the girl a look "Yes, that matters, but so does details." I turn back to Mae "Tell me everything from the moment you were captured up until now." Mae- I sigh and sit back down on the couch "Okay, I'll tell." I take a breath and begin to spin the tale of what happened. I skip over some details, like the fact that I had wasted away, starved myself, made an attempt at suicide, got electricuted, and that they thought I might have died if I'd been there a few more months, small stuff. "And now, we're sitting in here listening to me rattle on about the last five and a half months of my life." I conclude.

Tris-"you didn't leave me out did you?"I ask Mae as i walk in as she finishes the story "who's this?" I ask her gesturing to the boy acting like I haven't seen him before in my life, even though i was the one who spotted him in the first place.

"How could I leave you out? You're just as much a part of the story as me or Keeva." I say as I walk over to her and steer her twards the couch "Tris, this is Roe, my best friend in the world. Roe, this is Tris, one of my new roomates and fellow escapees."

Keeva: My eyes flick up momentarily to catch a glance of the scene. It look pretty nice scene which I'd probably never get used to, everything was to shaky in this world. I didn't have to be smart to figure it out but things could end as quickly as a blink of an eye.

"Okay, see you later!" I pull Roe twards the library in order to distract him "Roe, I need your help." "With what?" "My library is in a sorry state. I need your help recatalogging all the books, notebooks, jurnals, diaries, ect." I tell him then call out to Keeva "I could use your help to, Keeva! You're to good at getting stuff done for me to not ask for your help as well!"

Keeva: I look up from my drawing and stand silently, 'yeah." I say with a raise of my eyebrows, "sure, I'll help."

I stand in the middle of the room and give out directions "Okay, first we're going to need to get all of the books, papers, and notebooks off the shelves." I point twards a cluster of honeycomb-like cubbys on the wall "Do the same with those scrolls, but keep them seperate from the others, I catalog them seperately." After a little bit, we have the shelves bare. I hand them each a stack of books and a peice of paper "Jot down the name of the book as well as the first and last name of the author. After we've got that done, we'll alphabetize it."
