Keeva: When I was done drawing I hold it up for her to see, "look. This is what you look like." I point to the drawing of the human then the wolf. "These are notes I got from watching the transformation." I take the side of the paper that was filled with notes then grin.

Tris-I change back to human form,look at the drawing and say "nice,you really captured my features perfectly" I loooked out where mae left earlier and ask keeva"I wonder what's keeping Mae, it's been a while"

Keeva: I shrug, "She may not look it but her body was really meant for survival." I say, "She has a lot of skill. You can tell in the way she moves. Don't worry, she's fine." I turn back to a plant, "If there's anyone you should be worrying about it's us. We have no experience in these parts of the woods. Though I can adapt pretty well I do need to see something to learn how to do it. I've never learned how to fight or survive in the forest and you, though you can turn into an animal, aren't used to these surroundings either."

I come back a while later with a makeshift sled of wood and other odds and ends "Miss me?" I call out "I'm heading back to the house, you guys can stay here as long as you want, though. I've just got some work to do there."

Keeva: "I'll be there around nightfall." I say as I head for the mouth of the cave, "I want to look around."

I see the plant I had warned her about "Wait!" she freezes "Be completely still. That plant I was telling you about, it's in close range, I'll come get you out. Move to much, and you're going to be missing something unreplaceable." I warn

Tris-I am between Mae and Keeva,but i transform to a puma out of pure instinct and brace myself.

I nod absently "Okay." Quickly I pull out a long steel pipe from the pile and slowly advance on the plant and bait it. it lunges at me and I step aside, hitting it squarely with the pipe, leaveing it laying on the ground. "You can move now." I tell Keeva "You're good."

tris-with the threat gone i tranform back to human.

Keeva: I raise an eyebrow and look at the plant, "Right." I squatting down and pull out my notebook, "I'll see you two later," I say as I finish jotting down things and sketch it out. clicking my tongue I pick out a reasonable sized stick that looked sturdy enough and wave to the other as I leave the cave, "See you at dinner!"

"Later!" I head out with the sled and make it back to the house. I go inside to the workroom and begin to cut, nail, hammer, and shape the boards. I start to set out the pieces I'll need for a dresser, side table, and chair. "One set found. Now, time to put them together."

Tris-"I think i'll stay here with keeva just in case"I say

Keeva: I exit the cave and head in the opposite direction of home. I didn't have to work about getting lost but I knew that there were a lot of things out there that I didn't know about. I decide to mark some things on a map like plants I'd like to study and a few pools that had interesting moss or animals. it wasn't long before I had made it to a cliff that I looked at with a confident grin. Stuffing my things into my bag I tie the stick on tightly and begin to climb.

I stop after the chair and side table are finished and head to the kitchen for a drink. "I just love being home again." I say to myself happily.

Keeva: Pulling myself onto the top of the cliff I let out an exhausted laugh, "Yes," I say rolling over and sitting up, "Geez, I can see everything from up here."

Tris-i walk up next to keeva "yeah,just don't fall off" I tease

Keeva: "Don't worry," I say, "I'm not clumsy."

Tris-"i don't doubt that"i say as i look around."is it just me or is that a person coming this way"i ask as i point tward a speck in the distance coming closer.

Keeva: I look in that direction, "I believe it is," I say standing and dusting off my pants, "Wonder who it could be."

Tris-"should we tell Mae?"i ask
