Re: Maewell and The World of the Undead - REPOST11 Years AgoKeeva: I start to put books in order at once not bothering to write down the name, author, or whatever. I can see Roe looking at me, "I've already memorized the place and names of all the books," I say plainly, "I could recite all of them to you know if you'd like."

Re: Maewell and The World of the Undead - REPOST11 Years AgoI bust out laughing at Roe's baffled expression "It's true." I tell him, then look to Keeva "And I knew you probobly could, the recorded information was for my benefit." I pick up a piece of paper "Some people still have to resort to pen and paper at times, and I'm one of them." I think for a moment "Actually, I generally prefer pencils over pens when I write, that way I can erase mistakes and all. Because I make a lot of them when writing my stories and stuff."

Re: Maewell and The World of the Undead - REPOST11 Years AgoAbout an hour later we have everything cataloged and put back in order "Now that that's done," I head twards the kitchen "anyone thirsty? Dinner'll be ready soon."

Re: Maewell and The World of the Undead - REPOST11 Years AgoI see Roe's expression and know he's about to ask questions "We're all still a little on edge after the whole Maewell thing and all." He nods, accepting it "How was it?" he asks "I mean, what was it like? What did they make you guys do?" I silently dish out the food and busy myself with cleaning up the dishes I had cooked in, trying to avoid the question.

Re: Maewell and The World of the Undead - REPOST11 Years AgoKeeva: I snort, "Why don't you go on down there and ask," I say looking him in the eyes, "we just got out, you want us to talk about it again? What me to say that they kept us locked in rooms, beat us if we weren't good, and locked me in a room with an electrical door?" I narrow my eyes at him, "Pick your words carefully because I know exactly were every weak point is on your body by just glancing at you." I had studied a lot of human anatomy when I was younger so I could tell which parts of the body were weaker and what not.

Re: Maewell and The World of the Undead - REPOST11 Years AgoI scowl at her "Keeva, he's a friend, my best friend, I appreciate that you're helping me avoid the question, but next time can you do it just a bit more nicely?" I sigh and look at Roe "I just don't want to talk about it, okay?" He nods slowly, then glares at Keeva "Look, I know you just got outta there, but you don't have to bite my head off."

Re: Maewell and The World of the Undead - REPOST11 Years AgoKeeva: "If you don't ask stupid questions I won't have to." I say as I shrug and brush him off cooly, "Mae, I hope he's really trustworthy because I don't trust him." I look him over calmly.

Re: Maewell and The World of the Undead - REPOST11 Years AgoRoe: I growl "The feeling's mutual." I look at Mae "Why do you stick with her? You could've left her in the forest, no one would blame you." she looks to me "Because," she says, eyes glistening "she helped me escape, as did Tris. They didn't abandon me, I won't abandon them." she stands up "Just leave the dishes in the sink, I'll take care of them later." then quickly walks off. I glare at Keeva "Well, now we've both upset her." I state "If you don't mind my asking," I continue after a minute or two of silence "how did you guys escape? I just want to know, if there's a way out, there's a way in, and if there's a way in, there's a way to seriously tick them off."

Re: Maewell and The World of the Undead - REPOST11 Years AgoTris-"trust me you don't want to get in there,as for getting out they probably beefed up security since we esaped"I tell Roe."now if you two don't mind i'm going to try to calm Mae down"I say as stalk down the hall to where Mae is.

Re: Maewell and The World of the Undead - REPOST11 Years AgoI'm on the balcany clutching a notebook when Tris comes in "Need something?" I ask "Right now's not a good time, I'd like to be alone, if you don't mind." I resist the urge to wipe my eyes, but that would only confirm the fact that I had almost cried.

Re: Maewell and The World of the Undead - REPOST11 Years AgoTris-"well i do mind and I think there is something you need to get off your chest"I tell her stubbornly.
Re: Maewell and The World of the Undead - REPOST11 Years AgoKeeva: I look over him, "I destroyed the power while the other two got out to the fence." I say, "of course we had to get through other obstacles but just lie Tris said... they no doubt pumped up the security..." I look out the window in the direction of the school... "If I got a look I'd probably be able to tell what they changed though..." I say absently to myself, "I've been debating going back for some more kids..."

Re: Maewell and The World of the Undead - REPOST11 Years AgoI sigh "You're right, I do. Roe can't know, though, he can't find out." I show her the notebook "This," I tell her "is a recording of everything I saw and went through at Maewell. Physical, emotional, mental, everything in this one notebook." I look down at it, my fingers tightening "I'd destroy it, but I can't bring myself to. I thought I could, but I can't." I look at her and hold it up "It also contains Maewell's layout, everything about it, all right in here." I hold it to me "If Roe finds out...let's just say I wouldn't hear the end of it."

Re: Maewell and The World of the Undead - REPOST11 Years AgoTris-i look at Mae.I see the pain in her eyes and can't help but imagine all the horrible things that she went through and how hard it must have been for her to write those things down and have them in this book for all that time."Mae..."i say softly,"i know i can't undo what has been done ,but maybey bringing down maewell would be a start."I flash her that smug grin that she saw when we first met."I promise i will do whatever i can to help you."

Re: Maewell and The World of the Undead - REPOST11 Years Ago"That's why Roe can't know about this." I tell her "Like I said, it has everything, even most of the seeker's names, not to mention the kids and their numbers. If he found this thing, he'd try and take it down. But he wouldn't think about what he'd do before hand, he'd just barge in there and get either caught or killed. I'm not exactly sure which is the worst of the two options, wait, yes I do, it's getting caught." I look at the notebook with loathing "I need to find a way to keep him from finding out about this notebook, at least until we come up with a plan and make him promise to follow it."
Re: Maewell and The World of the Undead - REPOST11 Years AgoTris-"you're right we can't just leave this lying around,"i say,"Is here anywhere we can hide it so nobody will find it."
Re: Maewell and The World of the Undead - REPOST11 Years Ago"There's only one place that Roe will never find it, it's the only place I've ever found and not told him about. I felt bad about it at the time for hideing it from him, I still do, but it's nessasary." I motion for her to follow "Come on, but be quiet." I lead her to a corner to the library and press a section of the wood. A hole silently opens and I motion her through. Once I get inside I press on another section of wood and it closes. I grab her arm "Follow me." I wisper, guideing her along in the dark "One sec, I'll have a light on in a minute." I pass my hand across the front of a smooth, round object and it glows softly. Others light up as we pass by, flooding the place with soft light. "Here's where it'll be safe." I tell her.
