Breeze: I hear something and turn to see Shujaa in a heap on the ground. "Shoot!" I wheel Farasi around and jump off to kneel next to him. "Faeron, I need you to ride Hodari, Ive got to take Shujaa." I say quickly. I shake him "Shujaa." No response "Shujaa!" I sigh "You couldn't wait to pass out when we were safe, could you?" I ask as I struggle to get him onto Farasi. "Faeron, hurry up and Get on Hodari." I tell him when he hesitates.

Faeron- I nod and do as she says. I hop off Farasi and quickly cross over to Hodari. I look over to Elvira, who's face is full of worry.----Elvira- I watch Breeze put Shujaa on Farasi. This was all my fault. I shouldn't have asked those questions. Then Rayne would have had no need to kill his servant and end up hurting Shujaa. As I was thinking a sharp pain runs up from my leg to my back. I grind my teeth and hunch over a bit. That liquid or whatever was having some affect on me as well.

Breeze: I see Elvira start to really react to it and mount up quickly, Shujaa laid sideways in front of me. "We need to hurry, we don't have far." I assure them, then set off.

Elvira- "That's good." I say.----Faeron- "Elvira?" I ask looking at her. She only looks back at me and smiles before we take off again.

Breeze: I hear a small noise as Hodari follows, unwilling to let Shujaa out of sight. We get to the meadow around his house and I relax a bit "We're safe now." I call to the others "Elvira, how 'ya holding up?"

Elvira- "I'm fine." I say making Asil walk forward.---Faeron- "Me too!" I say.---Elvira- "So whose house is this exactly?" I ask Breeze

Breeze: "Bryan Gorgon's, he's an old friend and ally." I tell her.

Faeron- "Gorgon?" I say. Kind of a strange name.----Elvira- "Will he be able to help Shujaa?"

Breeze: I nod "Yes, and, just remember, he's a good guy." I tell them "His looks are a little-" "Breeze!" I look to see Bryan coming out of the cabin, a hulking mountain of a man. I smile "Bryan!" He comes closer and I can see the scars, especially the one crossing over his blinded eye, the other practically shining. The part I was going to warn them about, though, was the brand. All of Rayne's long-time servants were branded, he is no exception.

Faeron- I look over the guy and notice he has some kind of brand. "Elvira what's that?"----Elvira- I look to where he points and recognize the brand as that of Raynes. I keep Faeron back and grab Breezes arm. "I thought you said he was a good guy. Yet he has the brand of Rayne on him!" I whisper in her ear, keeping my eyes on this guy and my hand at the hilt of my sword.

Breeze: I look to her "He betrayed Rayne, Elvira, and saved my life. He's the only person I truly trust." I dismount Farasi and walk over "Bryan!" He laughs, a deep rumble, like rocks grinding against each other "Breeze!" I yelp as he crushes me with a bear hug, spots in my eyes. He pulls away a bit "Your back and-" "Yes." I say quickly, cutting him off before he could say anything else.

Faeron- I run past Elvira to Bryan. "Wow your really tall." I say. "I'm Faeron and that's Elvira! We're traveling with Breeze in order to stop Rayne. And I'm her apprentice too." I say in excitement.----Elvira- I stay back, going over to Shujaa. "Breeze." I say simply to remind her of his condition.

Bryan: I nod "Lets get him inside, shall we?" I go over and throw the boy over my shoulder "Come on in, I hope y'all are hungry, Ive got dinner cooking and I certainly can't eat it all." I tell them with a smile.

Elvira- I walk behind Bryan into the large house---Faeron- "Yea food sounds great! Thanks " I say following after Elvira

Bryan: I dump the boy on the couch. "One second, I'll get him up." I go into the kitchen and get a pitcher of water, then come back in and pour it on his face. He sits up spluttering, hand going for a weapon, then he cries out and I see the problem. I lift him up, then press the base of his neck. He immediately relaxes, panting for breath, relief written all over his face.

Elvira- "Shujaa are you ok?" I ask watching him.-----Faeron- "Breeze why does he have so many scars? I mean is it because he went against Rayne?" I whisper to her

Shujaa: I nod, catching my breath, trying not to panic at how easily that stuff took me down. Breeze: I nod "Pretty much."

Faeron- "Would he tell us how it happened?" I ask---Elvira- "Do you still feel any pain?" I ask Shujaa

Breeze: I curl up in an old, overstuffed, big chair. "Well, only one way to know: ask him and see what he says." Shujaa: I wince at a bit of pain "Just a bit, I'll live."

Faeron- I walk over to Bryan and tap him on the arm. "Can I ask you something?" I say.---Elvira- I smile. "That's good I was worried you wouldn't wake up again." I say but then grab my arm as a pain shoots through it. I don't scream out or anything but pain is evident on my face so Shujaa would have been the only one to see.
