Re: Fantasy World

Shujaa: I nod "She pretty much argued until I was allowed to come."

Re: Fantasy World

Elvira- "She?" I say a bit hesitant

Re: Fantasy World

Shujaa: I nod "His wife, she never agreed with his decision in the first place. She and Breeze teamed up and convinced him to let me go."

Re: Fantasy World

Elvira- "His wife? So you mean your mother right?"

Re: Fantasy World

Shujaa: "No, the Father's, though my mother would have agreed, as well. The way things work in my culture is complicated. Anyways, the main point is that Im here now, and I don't particularly want to go back."

Re: Fantasy World

Elvira- "Well if you don't then where would you go?" I ask. I knew what I will do if I survive all this. I will be able to stay in these forests and be able to rebuild the home Faeron and I had lost. But Shujaa what would he do?

Re: Fantasy World

Shujaa: I look around at all the silver and gold, brilliant and amazing "I don't know, I guess I'll just go where the wind takes me."

Re: Fantasy World

Elvira- I nod in understanding but then look back down to my hand. "But would a life like that really make you happy?" I ask quietly

Re: Fantasy World

Shujaa: I look down at my hand and see a ripple or two of silver "I don't know." I say quietly, then realize Im still holding her hand, and feel heat rise to my face. I pray to the goddess she doesn't notice, but don't let go. There's nothing wrong with holding a friend's hand, right? I stare at the contrast between our hands, silver and gold overlapping and intermingling where our hands meet. I look at it, transfixed by the beauty of it. My golden hues I have grown used to, but her light, silvery hues are occasionally shot through with a brilliant vein of gold that disappears soon after like a forgotten dream.

Re: Fantasy World

Elvira- I laugh and gently pull my hand away so that the world turns back to normal. "Listen to us. Talking about such serious things. Makes the world feel depressing." I say. He hand been staring at our hands too. Why? And why did he looked like he was blushing?

Re: Fantasy World

Shujaa: I nod, changing my vision back to normal "Yes, I guess it does." I clear my throat a bit "I'll um, be over there." I walk over to where Hodari is. He wickers, nudging me. "What?" He tosses his head in Elvira's direction "What about her?" He gives me a look and I roll my eyes "That's ridiculous." He snorts "She's a friend." He huffs, and I scowl "You are really impossible, you know that?" He tosses his head again, nickering. I smile a bit "Come on, Breeze looks ready to go."

Re: Fantasy World

Faeron- I watch as Elvira, Shujaa, and Hodari walk back to us. "Have fun?" I ask as Elvira walks over.------Elvira- I smile. "Yes. I was able to teach him all the contractions." I say. He walked over to Breeze and I started to brush Asil's mane. "He showed me something really beautifully Asil." I say. Asil eyed me. "What?" I ask. "Look don't get any ideas. He's a friend. And that's it." I say.

Re: Fantasy World

Breeze: I look around "Everyone ready?" Shujaa: "Ready." I call, swinging onto Hodari's back in an easy motion. Breeze: I nod, then hold down a hand for Faeron "Come on, kiddo, we're burning daylight."

Re: Fantasy World

Faeron- "right then let's go!" I say taking her hand.----Elvira- I jump up on Asil swiftly. We walk up next to Shujaa and Hodari, ready to go.

Re: Fantasy World

Breeze: I wince slightly as I pull him onto Farasi. "Keep up." I say simply, then Farasi takes off, eager to get where we're going. Shujaa: I barely nudge Hodari and we fly after her, me leaning forward a bit to reduce wind resistance. I close my eyes for a moment, savoring the feeling, then open them, smiling. One hand tangles in Hodari's mane, and I hang off of him on one side, only a leg keeping me on. I trail my fingertips, callused from a bow and years of similar tricks, along the ground. I beam as a wall of shimmering rock comes up to form an arch, then let it sink back into the earth once we've passed under it. I pull myself up onto Hodari's back, feeling like I had a new kind of energy. The very air seems to buzz with it out here.

Re: Fantasy World

Faeron- "So how far do we have to go Breeze?"-----Elvira- I watch Shujaa and laugh. "An acrobat are we?" I say. "Any more tricks up your sleeve?" I ask, curious of what else he might do.

Re: Fantasy World

Breeze: "Not far." I tell him "Just a few hours ride."    Shujaa: I smile "I had too much free time as a scout. I taught myself a few tricks to pass the time."

Re: Fantasy World

Faeron- I nod. "Will we reach my ancestors grave then or will we stop again?"-----Elvira- "Well what else can you do?" I ask him

Re: Fantasy World

Breeze: "We'll stop for the night, then continue tomorrow, if possible." Shujaa: I stand on Hodari's back, balancing easily. Riding like that for a few paces, then do a quick half-flip, landing on my hands. I wait a moment, then raise one hand, balancing on one hand. I bring my other hand back down, then bring myself back to a standing position. I do a flip forward, landing with my hands holding me a few inches above Hodari's back. I lower myself to sit once more on his back "Stuff like that." I tell her with a grin "I had far to much time on my hands."

Re: Fantasy World

Faeron- "Ok Breeze." I say. I had turned and seen Shujaa's trucks. "They're having fun back there." I say.-----Elvira- I laugh. "Apparently, since you can do that quite well."
