Re: Fantasy World

Breeze: I smile, I had stopped a while ago, deciding to see how log He could resist asking or peeking "You lasted longer than I thought you would." I tell him "You can stop now." Shujaa: I grin, crossing my arms and closing my eyes, relaxing against the tree "I will tell you what it means once you get it right."I tell her, knowing it would bother her until she knew what it meant.

Re: Fantasy World

Faeron- "why didn't you tell me." I say sighing. "What now?" I ask.---Elvira- I scrunch my eyebrows in frustration at him. He's gotten use to do things like this to me. So I smile and stand up. "Nzuri." I say, confidently. I still wasn't sure though if I had said it write so waited for his response.

Re: Fantasy World

Breeze: I stay seated "You tell me." I look to him "What now, Faeron? What is it you think we should do?" Shujaa: I stay relaxed "Try again." I tell her "If you get it this time I will," i think for a monent "I'll," I correct myself "show you something I think is interesting that you do not see."

Re: Fantasy World

Faeron- "Ummm..." I think. "Should I learn some new fire magic stuff?" I ask.----Elvira- I was a bit confused but also curious about what he said. So I really concentrated on getting the word right. "Nzuri." I say

Re: Fantasy World

Breeze: I study him "Tell me, what would help you most? I mean anything. What should you do that makes the most sense, even if you don't like it. What's a priority to make yourself better?" I ask, wanting to see if he could spot his own weaknesses. Shujaa: I smile "Close enough, but we really need to work on the accent." I stand up, wincing as the bruise reminds me it is there. I look to her "Nzuri means 'beautiful' in the desert language." I tell her "Now, stand here." I point to the spot directly in front of me "and I will, I mean, I'll, show you the interesting thing."

Re: Fantasy World

Elvira- Why would he choose a word that meant beautiful I wonder. That's what was going through my mind as I stood there, waiting for him to show me this interesting thing.----Faeron- "What will better myself?" I say. Did she mean like what I was weak on? I scratch my head as I think. I guess sometimes I'm impatient, wanting to hurry up and take the short road when doing something. Maybe a lil overconfendent as well. And a bit over eager. But how could we work on those things?

Re: Fantasy World

Shujaa: "Close your eyes." I tell her. She hesitantly obeys and I turn her to look away from me, at the forest. I place my hands on her shoulders and concentrate "Open them." I had wanted to show her what I could see: the woods, but different. Everything is alive, but in varying tones of silvers and gold, life rushing around us, but invisible to most. I knew she hadn't seen it, and Ive been wanting to show her. I don't say anything, knowing the sight was probably enough without me disrupting the beauty with words. Breeze: I smile slightly as I see his wheels turning "If you get stuck, just tell me."

Re: Fantasy World

Elvira- "Shujaa this is amazing!" I say as I watch the silver and gold colors dance in front of me, showing me how the life was moving. "So is this what you see all the time?" I ask.----Faeron- "I am stuck." I say finally looking at her.

Re: Fantasy World

Shujaa: I smile slightly "Only when I want to." I reach around her to point out something: little dots of light climbing up a tree in an orderly line, like soldiers "Everything has a light, and Ive realized non are the same, though they seem to be at first." I gesture next at the leaves on the ground, varying shades of bronze and tin. "Even death has an odd beauty to it." Breeze: I smile "You're impatient and instinctive. Sometimes that helps you, sometimes it doesn't. You can train yourself not to be as impulsive. I had to teach your ancestor control, too."

Re: Fantasy World

Faeron- "So am I a lot like him? I mean do I even look like him?" I ask her.-----Elvira- "Do people look like this too?" I look back at him. "What do I look like?" I ask him

Re: Fantasy World

Breeze: I smile a bit "You have his eyes, and his impatience." Shujaa: I concentrate, then take her hand and hold it in front of her a ways "Like this." Hers is more of a silvery tone, mine more of a golden, vastly different side by side "It is- Its," I correct myself "even more breathtaking at twilight."

Re: Fantasy World

Faeron- "Breeze...." I start to say but I'm hesitant. "Do you think I'll be able to fight Rayne like he did? Do you think I'll be able to stop him?"----Elvra- I laugh. "Everything is more breathtaking at twilight huh?" I ask, staring at the difference between our hands.

Re: Fantasy World

Breeze: My smile fades "Im going to be honest with you, kiddo. I don't know. I don't know if anyone could fight Rayne, if they want to win, at least." Shujaa: I smile "It is, isn't it? Even in the desert it created a whole new world. I used to imagine shadows as trees and bushes and mountains...it wasn't enough, though, not really. The stars, though, you can't beat the way the stars shine out there. Nothing to block them out, to hide them...they were the only really free thing out there."

Re: Fantasy World

Faeron- I sigh and sit down. All of this was a bit too much, but I was still determined to try. Don't give up they said. And I don't mean to.----Elvira- I nod, listening to him, but still looking at our hands. Why was his gold and mine silver?

Re: Fantasy World

Breeze: I sit next to him "That doesn't mean Im telling you to give up, though. Think of it as a warning. Before you try to take him on, be sure you can seriously kick butt first, okay, kiddo?" I ruffle his hair "I'd rather you wait and live than rush in and die." Shujaa: I follow her gaze "I think the colors say something about us, but Im not sure what. Yours changes sometimes, like you're changing your mind about who you are. Mine used to be silver, as well, but it changed one day when I made a big choice."

Re: Fantasy World

Elvira- "And what choice was that?" I ask.----Faeron- "Ok Breeze." I say with a smile. "So how are you going to teach me control?" I ask

Re: Fantasy World

Shujaa: "That I wasn't going to pretend anymore. I marched right up to my father and told him that I rejected my birthright in front of the whole clan." I shrug slightly "A few moments, and my life was changed. It's funny how that happens." Breeze: "Well, we can do a number of things, but I think we should try a couple of them." I stand up, holding back a wince as my back complains."Come on," I hold down a hand "we need to keep moving if you want to sleep in an actual bed tonight."

Re: Fantasy World

Elvira- "But your birthright was to be leader correct? If you don't do it then who will?" I ask.----Faeron- I taker her hand and stand up. "Right. Shouldn't we go get Elvira and Shujaa then?"

Re: Fantasy World

Shujaa: I sigh "It's a bit more complicated than that. See, even if I refuse my birthright, the Father of the Desert can order me to lead the clan. I don't have a choice, so all I can do is refuse to take a wife. I told them I'd rather be put out of the clan, but I was ordered to stay, it was more of a punishment than putting me out of the clan." Breeze: I nod "In a minute, take it easy for a little bit, kiddo."

Re: Fantasy World

Faeron- "Right." I say then feel something nudge me. I turn to see Asil and so I rub his neck.----Elvira- "You wouldn't take a wife so you were made to stay? But you were allowed to come with us." I say confused.
