Re: Fantasy World

Maenor: "You're intentions," I say, "were good." I unwrap myself from the blanket and sit Faeron down, "But you must learn how to take care of things the right way," I wrap the blanket around them, "Sit here a bit while I look at the others." I smile and ruffle his hair. He was a good kid.

Re: Fantasy World

"Look," I begin "you may think I'm just some stupid kid who doesn't know how to control her powers, but let me tell you something, I know more than you do. I sent them out to get rocks to heat so we could wrap them in the blankets around her to add heat. I went into the Healer's Trance in order to stop the sickness created by the Darke Magick from spreading any farther. I used another strand to test the strenth of my normal Healing Magick against that of the Darke Magick." I glared at him "Now, do you have anything else you wish to accuse me of not knowing or understanding? Yes, I know I can seem rash at times, but I know what I'm doing, no matter what you may think." I pause to let the words sink in "I'll be near the edge of the camp if you need me. Tell me when the fever breaks. Then I will continue the healing, no matter how unqualified you believe I am." I turned to Faeron "Find me when the fever breaks, no matter what he says." With that I turned and stalked to the edge of the camp, away from him.

Maenor: I raise and eyebrow, "She's quite quick tempered." I comment as I watch her leave, "she's unlike anything I've ever seen." I ruffle faeron's hair once more and smile, "Best do what she say," I say, "Here," I hand him some food, "I'll be over there tending to the others."

Re: Fantasy World

Elvira- "You eat little one." I say. "Do you need any help Maenor?" I ask----Faeron- I watch as she walks with him while I eat. I sure hope it works out.

Re: Fantasy World

I sighed *Maybe I had let my temper get the best of me.* I thought *But he needed to hear that, I am not some kid he's got to babysit. I know more than he'll ever know about most things, I can take care of myself, I've done it my whole life.* I looked over my shoulder at the others then turned back to the forest *They'll never know, and I envy them that luxury.*

Re: Fantasy World

Maenor: "sure. Can you look over his cuts," I say pointing to one of the elderly, "I need to go check on the one that's pregnant..." I smile and head over to her, "Mind if I take a look?" I ask and start the examination. She was lucky the baby hadn't died from trama but it wasn't doing very well. I sigh, "You might have to go into labor early if things get to bad," I say seriously, "but don't worry. You're in capable hands."

Re: Fantasy World

Elvira- I kneel down next to the old man, who had cuts on his arms and legs. As I looked closer I sighed in relief. "Not too bad. They look worse than what they are." I say smiling at him. I knew how to heal them since they weren't cut too deep. Luna had shown me a few things...I wonder what she was doing now. I grab the herbs I needed and used them on the cuts. Then I wrapped them. "There. I'll come back to look at them a lil while later, ok?" I say then walk over to Maenor and watch him. "You seem to know a lot about healing." I say. "I...I should thank you Maenor. For stopping Faeron and Breeze back there."

Re: Fantasy World

Maenor: I look up then sigh and look back down at the wound I was dressing, "I should know a lot, since I was raise by Him" I say knowing she had idea who Him was. She probably would with time. It she was involved with Luna they'd find out soon enough. Standing with a groan I look her over, "Luna, You know her?"

Re: Fantasy World

Elvira- "Of course. She always would visit the elven village and the children during different times in the year. But she would always be present for the Full Moon Celebration. She loves telling her stories, showing her magic and healing ways. I learned alot from her over the years." I say, smiling. I look at him. "Why do you ask?"

Re: Fantasy World

Maenor: "No reason," I say giving some food to one of the families, "I'm just curious how she's been doing. I haven't seen her since we were small."

Re: Fantasy World

Elvira- "So you've known her for a long time huh?" I ask curious.

Re: Fantasy World

Maenor: "Yeah," I say with a small smile, "When I was orphaned the witches took me in and Luna was one of the children I grew up with."

Re: Fantasy World

Elvira- "Oh." I say. "May I know how you were orphaned? I mean if its too personal to you, then you don't have to tell me."

Re: Fantasy World

Maenor: "They were killed," I say, "and so some reason their murderer decided to let me live." I shrug and head back over to faeron, "Hows it going?" I ask as I place a hand on the little elf's forehead, "Looks like the fevers gone down slightly. Why don't you call the fairy over and I'll get some herbs into her system." I head to my horse and pull out the right amount of hers to keep her sleeping throughout the whole process and enough to dull the pain. I then give it to the little elf.

Re: Fantasy World

I roll my shoulders to work out the kinks. A pain accelerates to my shoulder blades and down my back. I wince as it sharpens then subsides in sporatic bursts. I slow my quick, pained breaths into a calm, slow rythm. A gasp of pain escapes me as I feel the familiar pain in my back and shoulder. I grit my teeth, for the time being I'd have to deal with the pain. Kinrye needed my full Healing Powers, I couldn't waste them on myself. I sigh as the pain recedes, settling to a dull, throbbing pain, for the moment, at least. As long as I don't make any jerky or sudden movements, I ought to be fine. *It'll never get easier, but I'll power through the pain. Just like I've always done. I'll be alright. My powers are needed elsewhere, by others in greater need, and pain, than I. I'll be ok. Without my Healing Power, Kinrye won't make it. I have to save it all for her. I'll just go without, I can make it.*

Re: Fantasy World

Maenor: I head over to get the fairy, "You said you wanted to be the one to heal her," I say quizzically as I look her over. She looked a bit pale. "Well now's your chance to shine sweetheart. The fever is down as far as it'll go and I've given her medicine to dull any pain and keep her asleep." I look her over. Yep, pale. Sighing I rummage in my pocket and pull out some pain herbs. "Here, take this," I say putting it in her hands, "Come see me when your done. No doubt you'll use all your energy healing the kid so I'll have to take a look at you." I give her a serious look then turn and leave.

Re: Fantasy World

I look down at the herbs he had placed in my hand. They were meant for killing pain, despite the allure, I didn't take them, they could hamper my magic. I shove them into a pocket as I walk back to Kinrye. "Sweetheart. Did he seriously just call me sweetheart? I bet I'm older than him, and yet he calls me a patronizing nickname, as if I'm a little kid. We're definitly going to have a talk later." I mutter. I sit cross-legged next to Kinrye, time to begin. I straiten my back and place my hands on my knees. I allow my body to relax, still keeping the position, as I slow my breathing. My vision merged into that of the healing trance. I sigh inwardly, I had a lot of work to do. Pain lanced through my shoulders and spine, I push it to the back of my mind. I have to focus on Kinrye. I begin the slow, draining task of attacking the sickness in her leg. Soon, all I could see was glowing gold and writhing black.

Re: Fantasy World

Elvira- I stand and watch, but then hear slight rustling in the bushes and then saw what seemed to be something darting away. I quickly go after the figure. I picked up on the scent...a werewolf. He was alone though, probably a scout sent out to find more elves. I had to stop before he gets to the other werewolves and tells of our groups position.---Faeron- I look around worried. Where was my sister? I walk up to Maenor. "Have you seen Elvira?"

Re: Fantasy World

Maenor: I look around, "I'm not sure," I say then at his head, "Don't worry though. She's fine and so are we. Nothing can come into this clearing. It's a sacred ground formed by the witches. It protects against evil." I leave the group anyways and head toward the forest. Where had that girl gone?

Re: Fantasy World

I continued to work through the pain that escalated throughout the healing. I pushed past the agony that spread through my body, I had to save Kinrye. Deeper into the darkness I dug, weaving my healing  magic throughout. I knew I might collapse, but I didn't have time to think about that, I had to focus solely on my magic.
