Shujaa: I nod "One does not keep Breeze waiting. Let us join them." Breeze: I look over at Shujaa "Your assignment is to learn contractions, Shujaa." He looks at me, confused "Contractions?" I sigh "Elvira, do you think you could teach him? I've got my hands full with Faeron's studies."

Elvira- "Um I'm not quite sure myself what you mean Breeze." I say looking at her.----Faeron- I put myself in the right position with my legs crossed and waiting for Breeze.

Breeze: I sigh "What do they even teach you nowadays? A conjunction is saying I'm instead of I am. Won't instead of will not, etc." I explain. Shujaa: I look at Elvira, then back at Breeze "I am only required to learn how to say them, right?" I ask nervously.

Elvira- "Which ones in particular should I teach him Breeze?" I ask

Breeze: "Any of them! I can't stand how awkward he sounds, like he learned it from hermit who hasn't spoken to anyone in the past thousand years!" I look up at him "No offense, Shujaa." Shujaa: "I am only required to learn how to say them, right?" I ask again.

Elvira- I sigh a bit. When did I become the teacher. "Come on Shujaa." I say after he asks the question again. Weren't there more important things to do? Like taking the book to my ancestors grave?----Faeron- I look at Elvira. "I don't think she likes that too much." I say smiling a bit.

Shujaa: I sigh "I am not happy about it either, Elvira." Breeze: "Well, I wasn't happy to have Rayne come back, but Im dealing with it." I tell him "Besides, Shujaa is a fast learner. It'll be over before she knows it."

Faeron- "Ok. So when do we start?" I ask.----Elvira- "It's fine Shujaa. I'm just not use to being the teacher and all."

Breeze: I adjust my posture to be strait, not relaxed, but not tensed, either. "I was thinking now." I tell him, closing my eyes and deepening my breathing. Shujaa: "And I am used to being the teacher, not the student." I tell her "It will be a new experience for both of us."

Faeron- I close my eyes and do the same as Breeze.---Elvira- "Yes it will." I say smiling. "To be truthful I like the way you try to speak the common tongue. Your words are exact so it's different. But Breeze says you must learn so let's get started." I say and sit under a tree.

Shujaa: I nod, sitting beside her. "I am ready when you are."

Elvira- I start by explaining that he could use I'm instead of I am, and then I got into others: aren't instead of are not, you're instead of you are, they're instead of they are, we're instead of we are, can't instead of cannot, won't instead of will not, etc.

Elvira- I laugh. "But you got it right this time Shujaa." I say. "I've basically covered all of them. And you are getting it. It will just take a bit more time and repetition." I say. "But I would feel the same as you do if I was trying to learn your language."

Shujaa: I smile slightly, leaning back against a tree "Nzuri." she looks at me blankly "Try saying it. Nzuri."

Faeron- I opened an eye and looked at Breeze. "Breeze how much longer?" I say quietly.----Elvira- "N..zu...ri?" I say stammering and unsure of myself. "That was completely wrong wasn't it? What's it supposed to mean?"
