Shujaa: "Well, I have three younger sisters: Kutumaini, Mapenzi, and Furaha. Kutumaini is the oldest, almost the age for engagement, then there is Mapenzi, she still has a few years before engagement, and finally, theres Furaha, it's only been a year since she got her veil." I think "My mother is dead, so that just leaves my Father, Chifu, the Chief." I shrug "That is pretty much it."

Elvira- I laugh a bit. "That's it? What about how they act? Do your sisters have any special skills or abilities? And what do you mean by your sister just getting her veil and what's the age of your oldest sister, if she's almost ready for engagement" I ask

Shujaa: "Well, getting your veil means that you are not considered a child anymore, for females, at least. Boys, well, you get assigned a patrol. Kutumaini is 12, and very headstrong. Mapenzi is 10, and an old soul, very sweet and patient and loving. Then there's Furaha, she is the village darling, very lovable and fun to be around, she's now 6. Kutumaini has control over fire, Mapenzi over water, and Furaha over wind." I smile "It's funny how all their powers match their personalities."

Elvira- "Yes it is. My mom use to say something like that to me. As beautiful as a flower, as peaceful as grass, but as strong as the rocks of the earth." I say smiling

Shujaa: I laugh "My father says I'm stubborn as a rock, sitting where I want and refusing to budge without a great amount of force."

Elvira- "Yet you're as calm and gentle as a soft breeze." I say

Shujaa: "Well, I guess that is true, for the most part." I look down at my sword hilt, suddenly solemn "But even breezes turn into sandstorms." I say unhappily, then shake my head, trying to clear that line of thought from my mind. 

Elvira- "Speaking if breezes, our Breeze has probably noticed that we're gone. You want to go back?" I say.

Shujaa: I smile and force a light tone "After you, m'lady." I give a sweeping bow, gesturing tward the camp.

Elvira- I laugh. "Alright come on let's go." I say walking ahead towards the camp

Shujaa: I stop a few feet from the camp, putting out a hand to stop Elvira. "Let's try to sneak in!" I whisper "I used to do it all the time when I was younger, but I could never get past her, I wonder if we can now!"

Elvira- I laugh quietly. " I doubt it but I'm willing to try!" I whisper back.

Shujaa: I begin to walk silently forward, making sure my shadow wouldn't catch Breeze's eye. I get about halfway to my tent and- "Nice try, Shujaa." I freeze as I hear her voice, clear and amused. I smile sheepishly, feeling like a little boy again "You as well, Elvira." I sigh and shrug at Elvira "I told you I never got past her." I say, laughing.

Elvira- I laugh with him. I had pretty much known we wouldn't get pass her. I sigh then yawn. "Well I'm going to go back to my tent and get a lil more sleep. Goodnight." I say as I go into my tent

Breeze: "Goodnight, Elvira." I call, then look to Shujaa "You to, young man, off to bed." "Yes ma'am, Aunt Breeze." I hear him go into his tent and sigh. I put my head in my hands, weary. The healer had done what she could, but it wasn't much.

Elvira- I sleep until the sun starts to rise. That's when I always get up. So I stretch and get up seeing Breeze. " Morning." I say sitting across from her

Breeze: I look up, giving a smile. "Good morning, Elvira." I keep the weariness out of my voice, not wanting her to worry. I hear Shujaa walk out of his tent and greet him, motioning to the fire "Breakfast is waiting for you both, I had mine earlier. It's not much, but it'll get you going. With some hard riding, we'll be at the border by noon."

Elvira- "Really?" I say excited as I start to get my food. "It'll be good to feel the grass again and hear the voices of the trees and other plants." I say

Breeze: I smile as I see Shujaa immediately get excited. He bolts down breakfast and starts getting his horse ready, prepping Farasi as well.

Elvira- I get done eating and get up to prepare Asil. "Can we go on now Breeze?" I say smiling
