Re: Fantasy World

Shujaa: "Because you seemed upset earlier." I say bluntly, then smile at her "I have sisters, I know how to tell when a female is upset. It is the body language, the voice, and the eyes. Your mood is very easy to tell, your emotions are written all over you." I look her in the eyes "My question is: Why? Why are you upset?" I ask, my smile fading. "Was it something I did?"Breeze: I ignore Shujaa and Elvira, blocking them out. I need to concentrate on safety. We're close to the border, we'll be there by midday tomorrow, and Rayne is hunting for us. I have to stay on guard, or we're all dead, or worse.

Re: Fantasy World

Faeron- I wake up and hear Mornor walking away. "Mornor?" I call, still a bit asleep. "Where are you going?"-----Elvira- "No, it's not something you did. I'm just a lil unnerved of the dreams I was having. That's all." I then look at him. "And well maybe I was a bit jealous of how you could control fire." I say.

Re: Fantasy World

Shujaa: I grin "Oh, that little trick? It just took me about a decade and a half, give or take." I shrug "No big deal." I give her a wink "A three-year-old could run circles around me." I give a slight laugh "Not to mention burn me to a crisp while they're at it."

Re: Fantasy World

Elvira- I smile. "Yea probably." I say then look at him. "I feel a lot better now Shujaa. So thanks for coming out here." I say

Re: Fantasy World

Shujaa: I hesitate, then take the plunge "Are you sure it is just that?" I ask "It seemed like something else, to be honest."

Re: Fantasy World

Elvira- "What else do you think it could be?" I say looking at him.

Re: Fantasy World

Mornor: "Don't worry kid," I say with a chuckle as I walk over to him and ruffle his hair, "I'll be back once I take a bath."

Re: Fantasy World

Faeron- I smile and lay my head back down. "Alright then." I say, yawning at the end since I'm still a bit tired. Soon I'm back to sleep

Re: Fantasy World

Shujaa: "Well, when Breeze was telling those stories, you know, at the fire..." I clear my throat, unsure how she'd react "it seemed like you do not like it, the fact that Breeze and I are close." I finish in a rush.

Re: Fantasy World

Elvira- "Well I-" I stand there and think. "I didn't know she was your aunt. And just you two seem like you know everything about each other and you are so close with each other. And I don't know if I have someone I can be like that with. I mean sometimes with Breeze she's just different from me and I don't know mysterious like. And I don't know much about your culture or what you like so..... That's it." I say. It was weird to explain and I had trouble finding the words

Re: Fantasy World

Shujaa: I smile "Oh, she is not my literal aunt, I just called her that when I was little, and it kind of stuck. She is the one who taught me mental and physical control, it was Father's idea. But, well, I was more mature than the other boys in the village, and, well, she understood that. She let me tag along when she would be going for rides, or practicing her skills, even let me sit beside her during meals, and that was an honor, it was the dream of every boy in the village." I tell her. "She sat next to my Father, so that was huge, every other boy was exceedingly jealous."

Re: Fantasy World

Elvira- "Oh ok I see now." I say then look at him. "So do you want to go back or keep walking?" I ask him.

Re: Fantasy World

Shujaa: "It is up to you." I smile "A night without sleep, walking through the desert at night with lovely company. Does not sound bad to me."

Re: Fantasy World

Elvira- I blushed slightly when he said lovely. "Then we shall walk on but just for a while. I don't want to keep you up all night, nor do I want to up that long." I say as we start to walk. "The moon is high and full and with all the stars surrounding it. Tonight some of my favorite constellations are here. There's old king Cepheus and then near it is mighty Hercules. The lyre, or harp, Lyra is also close. As well as my dear Draco, the Dragon.....It was one of my fathers favorites as well." I say. "My father always looked and studied the stars, drawing various maps of them as each month brought new sets of stars. Most elves yearn for all knowledge of the world and for grace and peace. For my father his peace came from the stars and he wished to know more about them then to study our world. And I was usually looking up at. the stars with him." I say then sigh. "My mother supported his curiosity and research, but she herself only saw stars and not wonders in the night. Her love was in flowers and was a famed florist for the elves. She did our own village's main garden and everyone loved it. She also had a wonderful singing voice and she would sing many songs to me and Faeron. But our father would as well. And my mother was a natural born fighter, for it is through her blood that we are descendants of the Last Elven Knight. She had been taught to fight like her ancestors and then she trained me. I've taught a little to Faeron, but I hope Breeze will teach him more." I say. "I'm sorry. Again I was babbling off." I laugh

Re: Fantasy World

Shujaa: I laugh "No, it is fine, you forget that I have sisters, I am used to it." I smile "Besides, you're face lights up like the Bariki Lights when you speak of your family. Keep talking, I would like to hear more of your brother, Faeron, correct?"

Re: Fantasy World

Elvira- "Yes that's correct. Faeron is a fire user and a quick learner. And he needs to be so he can keep up with Breezes training since he's her apprentice. And he's so sweet and caring, but also brave and seems fearless. Everyone tells me he'll make a great warrior one day. But I kinda don't want him to be that because I don't want to lose him too. But I can tell he wants to be like that and how can I stop him? He's already started training and I know it's going to be him who...." I stop not wanting to say it even to myself.

Re: Fantasy World

Shujaa: "Who'll have a chance of dying, and who might come up against Rayne." I put a hand on her arm, stopping her. "I understand your fear, and, it is not unfounded." I sigh and pull off my tunic, revealing a long, rope-like scar that winds from my right shoulder to my left hip. "I got this while battling one of Rayne's men." I put my tunic back on "He will have scars, and he will be in danger, but that is true for life in general." I look her in the eyes "This happened when I was only a little older than how old Breeze told me Faeron is. He will be hurt, but he will grow stronger for it."

Re: Fantasy World

Elvira- I nod. "I know your right but I still worry about him getting hurt or worse. But yes it will make him stronger." I lean over and hug Shujaa lightly. "Thank you." I say then pull away and keep walking. "Is there anything else you want to talk about?" I say to him.

Re: Fantasy World

Shujaa: I smile, pleasantly surprised at her show of affection. "Well, I have asked you many questions, now, it is your turn to question me." I spread my hands palms up "Ask me anything."

Re: Fantasy World

Elvira- "Well tell me about your family." I say looking at him.
