Re: Fantasy World

Elvira- I laugh at him, the first time I've laughed in a while I think. I give him a light punch in the arm. "Come on." I say

Re: Fantasy World

Shujaa: I smile and lead her around "There, as you know, is the healer's tent. Then there's the bachelors' tents, that's where I live along with all the unmarried men of the village. Over here's my father, the Chief's, tent." I continue the tour until we come almost to a full circle, then stop her. "Here's the Shaman's tent. He's different from the healer in the fact that he can also do war spells, he's a little bit to traditional, if you ask me." I wisper "Not to mention extremely-what's your word for it?" I think for a moment, then smile as I remember "Grumpy! He's really grumpy." I shepherd her over to the next group of tents "Here are the families' tents. And last but not least: Yours and Breeze's tents!" I present them to her with a flourish.

Re: Fantasy World

Elvira- "Your people already put tents up for me and Breeze?" I say looking at them. "That's very kind and I'm grateful for it. As well as for the tour Shujaa."

Re: Fantasy World

Shujaa: I shrug "No problem, we don't have much else to do. You can go in and look around your tent, it's the one on the left. Your things were already placed inside and if you need anything," I smile "just scream."     Breeze: "You're done. I did all I could, but it can only stem the flow." I give an attempt at a smile "It's fine." the healer bustles about, cleaning up and such. "I wouldn't have been able to do so much if it hadn't been you I was working on." she continues "Your strength is vast, most mental, physical, and spiritual than I've ever seen or worked with." she gives a little laugh "Here I am rattling on when you're all tuckered out, here you are, dear." she hands me a bundle of clothes and I hurry to put them on, specifically the thin corset I always wore. "Why cover them up so quickly? Usually you try and keep that thing off here." she pauses for a beat "Oh, she doesn't know, does she?" I shake my head "But aren't the clothes loose enough to conceal them?" I nod "But they can slip out, you know that, I can't let her know about them, not yet, at least, if ever."

Re: Fantasy World

Elvira- I blush, a bit irritated. "I won't scream anymore. I'll just go and find you." I say crossing my arms and going inside. Everything was inside and seeing all my things made me happy. But my mind still wondered back to Breeze and how she was doing.

Re: Fantasy World

Breeze: I stumble outside where Chifu puts an arm around my shoulders. I must have looked really bad, because he walks me to my tent "I'm fine, just tired." I tell him as I go inside my tent. "Elvira." I call, knowing she would hear me "Would you come see me please?" I sit on one of the scattered floor pillows and wait.

Re: Fantasy World

Elvira- I hear her call me and I walk out of my tent and into hers. "Breeze." I say and sit down in front of her. "Are you feeling any better? What all did they do?"

Re: Fantasy World

Breeze: I smile "I'm better, just tired. They stemmed the flow of blood from my back, it was a hard process, and painful, but it's worth it in the long run. I just want to know if you're alright."

Re: Fantasy World

Elvira- "Of course I'm alright. Why wouldn't I be? Your the one that's hurt." I say, looking at her. "Is that all you wanted to say Breeze? Because I feel like there's more you want to tell me."

Re: Fantasy World

Breeze: "I also wanted to warn you." I admit "The shaman, well, we don't exactly get along very well. He knows he can't take on me, but you?" I sigh "He's had a good long while to amass his power, so naturally he'll be stronger than you. He might try to pick a fight, just because you're my friend."

Re: Fantasy World

Elvira- "Shujaa told me that he was a 'grumpy' person. Don't worry, I won't fight unless he throws first." I say, smiling. I keep looking at her. "Now is that all Breeze?" I say, lifting an eyebrow.

Re: Fantasy World

Breeze: I smile "That's all. Any questions you have other than that?"

Re: Fantasy World

Elvira- "Well no. Ive already seen the village. Shujaa showed me around." I say. "How long do you think we will stay though?"

Re: Fantasy World

Breeze: I shrug "However long it takes for me to figure out a way to keep Rayne from getting his hands on this." I pull out a book and hold it out to her "If he finds a way to get this, we might as well throw ourselves on our swords."

Re: Fantasy World

Elvira- I stand up. "I thought you gave that to Maenor." I say. But then I smile. "You gave him a fake." I say. "But I don't understand why he wants this. What does this book tell you about?"

Re: Fantasy World

Breeze: "It tells you about the oldest forms of magic." I tell her "If you can decode the book, you will become extremely powerful, enough to bend people to your will." I look at it sadly "That's why I'm never going to read it, and I'm going to take it somewhere no one will be able to get it."

Re: Fantasy World

Elvira- "Wait if its that powerful, why don't we try to find a spell that could defeat Rayne? Or maybe one that will help Maenor get out of the spell he's under?" I say looking at the book

Re: Fantasy World

Breeze: I sigh "You don't understand, all magic has a cost. And these spells have some of the greatest." I look down at the book with fear and loathing "I ought to know, I won't make that mistake again, and I won't let you make it either."

Re: Fantasy World

Elvira- "What kind of costs? I mean if what we do is for good, then why not take the risks of the costs?"

Re: Fantasy World

Breeze: I look her in the eye "No. It isn't. I know from experience, it isn't worth it, and I'm still paying the cost for the one time I used it." I stand up and walk outside, looking for a place to be alone.
