Re: Fantasy World11 Years AgoI watch as a cloud appears in the distance "Here they come!" I bounce up and down for a second, then still, watching as they practically fly across the desert. "Breeze?" I beam as I hear my name and see a man jump off his horse, then run twards me. "Breeze!" He folds me in his arms and crushes me with a huge bear hug. I gasp as my back screams and dots appear in my eyes. He holds me away from him and searches my eyes, worried "Your back?" I nod dizzy, he shakes his head "When will you ever learn?" I give him a weak smile and shrug. "Never mind that, let's get you back home." He looks around me and sees Elvira "A friend?" "Yes, this is Elvira, a good friend and the sister to my apprentice." he raises an eyebrow "I'll explain later." I tell him, he nods. "Right, now, the only thing that matters, angu binti, is getting you two back home and looking to your wound." He motions to one of the young men, who comes running over. "Take Elvira," he points to her "on your horse, she's not used to riding in the desert." He looks me in the eye "And you, young lady, are riding in front of me, no arguments." I roll my eyes and he just laughs, his deep bass rumbling and comforting.

Re: Fantasy World11 Years AgoElvira- I admit that I wasn't familiar with the desert, but still riding on the back of another horse with strange people? I wasn't too keen on it. "What about my horse?" I say not wanting to leave Windfola behind.----Faeron- "Aw why not? I want to talk to them..."

Re: Fantasy World11 Years AgoLuna: "Apparently it's not time yet," I say simply, "remember we are at the spirit's disposal. Not the other way around. If you'd like you can stay and see if you can make a connection... I'm sure some of your ancestors would like to talk to you."

Re: Fantasy World11 Years Ago"She followed us at a breakneck pace for about five leagues, I think she'll be fine." I walk over and place a hand on her shoulder. "Trust me, you'll want to ride with him. First time I came here, I said I'd ride my own horse, I fell off within the first few minutes." I wisper "Besides, if we're attacked, you'll be safer with him. You ought to be honored, you'll be riding with one of this peoples' greatest warriors."

Re: Fantasy World11 Years AgoElvira- "Ok. I'll do it." I say. I'll decide how great a warrior he is. I get up on the horse behind the warrior. "I'm ready whenever you are, umm..." I hadn't caught his name and stopped.----Faeron- "I'll stay for a bit Luna."

Re: Fantasy World11 Years AgoI smile at her confusion and laugh "You didn't think to introduce him?" I ask Chifu with a chuckle, then toss over my shoulder "Elvira, Shujaa. Shujaa, Elvira." He shakes his head with a smile "Ah, angu binti, still as full of leadership as the day you came." He lifts me up and sets me on his horse, Shindano, before I can protest, then mounts up behind. "Enda!" He shouts, then we take off.

Re: Fantasy World11 Years AgoElvira- I climb up on the horse behind Shujaa and then we start off. "So what does Shujaa mean?" I ask him as we go.

Re: Fantasy World11 Years AgoShujaa: "Warrior." I reply simply, my eyes darting about the landscape, searching for any sign of attackers. "Kubali Macho!" I call behind me "Kuangalia ili ya adui fumba! Sisi Kuwa na muhimu abiria ili kutunza uganda!"
Breeze: I smile as I hear Shujaa "Yeye ni mno ya Shujaa sasa ni yeye si?" I ask "Naam, yeye ni." He agrees "Bali, sisi wasia ongea baadaye, angu binti. Kuokoa ako nguvu, mimi weza kuambia wewe ni uchovu, hafifu, na katika umivu." I begin to protest but he puts a hand over my mouth for a moment "Mimi weza akili na damu tayari ako kisua." I nod and lean back against him, tired and weak, glad he had come to the conclusion himself. |

Re: Fantasy World11 Years AgoElvira- "Well I'm guessing that's what you are right? A warrior for your people then?" I ask then hear him and Breeze talking in a strange language. "What did she say? Is there anyone out there?" I say, looking to see if they were talking about attackers.

Re: Fantasy World11 Years AgoShujaa: "Yes, I am a warrior, and, no, there isn't anyone around except for our patrol." I assure her "Hold tight," I warn "We're going up a dune." I spur my horse, Hodari, on as we climb the dune, it's sand flying up aroung us and trying to make us slip. After a moment the dune stops it's attack and we reach the top. The sun was setting and painted the desert in colors of wonder which no mortal could copy. I take a deep breath, then turn my attention back to the girl "Here comes the fun part." I let out a cry and Hodari slides down the dune. I throw my head back and shout a war cry, holding on with my knees and punching my fists in the air.
Breeze: I smile as I hear Shujaa and laugh. *Good thing he knows what he's doing. My bet: she's going to hold on tight enough to block his circulation.* "Ya mvulana wasia ukalili ya msitu mwali." Chifu says with a laugh. |

Re: Fantasy World11 Years AgoElvira- I scream out and hold on to his back out of fear. I felt us stop when we got to the bottom. "You call that the fun part? That scared me to death! All this sand flying and barely having any balance as we slide down this dunes. It's crazy." I say, turning my head away.

Re: Fantasy World11 Years AgoShujaa: I give her a puzzled gaze "That? That was not what I spoke of. Did you not see the sunset? I was meaning for you to enjoy the sight." I think about it for a moment, then realize my mistake "Oh, I did it again, I get words in your language mixed up. I meant to say that it was the best part. I am sorry for the confusion." I apologize. "I do not have much need to use it out here, and I am out of practice."

Re: Fantasy World11 Years AgoElvira- "I guess it was kind of pretty...for a desert I mean." I say looking back. The view had been beautiful, but that still didn't change how I felt out here

Re: Fantasy World11 Years AgoShujaa: I raise an eyebrow, a habit my father said I had picked up from Breeze when I was younger. "Well," I say passively "I guess you're kind of pretty...for a forest girl, I mean." I keep a strait face and set my gaze ahead, trying not to picture her facial reaction, if I did, I'd start laughing.
Re: Fantasy World11 Years AgoElvira- I look straight at him and I feel my cheeks start to turn red. But I felt as though I was blushing more out of anger instead of embarrassment. He must be joking. We just only met and he's giving me a compliment, calling me pretty. But I felt like I didn't want him to call me that....I guess I..I just wanted one person to call me pretty. I sigh. "Your probably just saying that to calm me down or whatever from sliding down the dunes. Compared to your desert girls, I must look horrible huh?" I ask.
Re: Fantasy World11 Years AgoShujaa: I laugh "You forest girls are so serious, so unsure of yourselves. I was only messing with you." I keep smiling "By the way, we are off the dune, you do not have to hold on so tightly now."
Re: Fantasy World11 Years AgoElvira- "Right. I didn't realize I was holding on still." I say releasing him "So where to now?"
Re: Fantasy World11 Years AgoShujaa: "Our village. I think you will like it, Breeze does." I beam "She's really something. To see her in action...there are no words. She saved my life when I was younger, and another time she saved the whole village, we all owe her our lives."
Re: Fantasy World11 Years AgoElvira- "She is very brave and skilled in fighting. I owe her my life too, as well as my younger brother's life. She helped us escape from our village when we were attacked by werewolves." I say. That seemed like such a long time ago, what with dealing with Rayne now.

Re: Fantasy World11 Years AgoShujaa: Twilight darkens the desert as I point ahead "It's just over that dune, hold tight." We get to the top and I look back at Elvira "You might not want to scream this time, the women will think you weak, and we wouldn't want that." I smile as I see the look of anger and embarrasment on her face "I'm just jokeing, you forest girls need to take things less seriously." We go sliding down the dune before she can respond. I laugh as we go, waving at the village.
