Re: Fantasy World

Mornor: "You really think fighting us is wise?" I ask raising an eyebrow, "Listen, I don't know who you are but your buddy here isn't exactly in a fighting condition." I point to the other girl, "I can smell the blood, and the magic." I say giving the wounded girl a look, "So don't try anything." I summon up a little orb of black magic and send it shooting at both of them. It disappears right before their eyes with a small pop of white like that blinds them just long enough for my thugs to grab hold of them and tie them up. I crouch down in front of them, "Don't worry, Rayne isn't to bad... he taught me stuff like that. Harmless magic." I give a flash of a grin and straighten. "Come on. Lets get moving."

Re: Fantasy World

"Meanor!" I yell "What are you doing? Are you crazy! Meanor, call them off!" something he said makes me catch my breath "Rayne?" I ask breathlessly "You-your in league with-with Rayne?" I look him in the eye, desperately searching for any sign of recognition "Meanor, don't you remember me? I'm Breeze, you know, the girl who annoys you because she'll never ask for or accept help? You saved Elvira and I from Rayne not to long ago?" I feel tears threatening and blink them away "Don't you remember?"

Re: Fantasy World

Elvira- I look down. I had seen the swirl of magic in Meanors eye. "No he doesn't remember anything. Not you. Not Luna or Faeron. Not me..." I shake my head. I look at Breeze and whisper to her. "Rayne has a spell over him or something that is making him forget. We have to figure something out to break it."-----Faeron- I look at her. "Luna?"

Re: Fantasy World

Mornor: I cross my arms over my chest and look at them like they are crazy, "Maenor?" I ask raising an eyebrow then look at my hands, "I think I used to much magic." I joke to the thugs, "It must have messed with their heads." we all chuckle and they toss the two onto the cart that is waiting back with all of our stuff in it.

Re: Fantasy World

I act as though I'd hit my head when I landed and lay as still as possible, keeping my breathing slow and even. *Come on, think! How do you get out of this?* My mind whirls with ideas as the cart starts to move. I settle on one that seems doable and stay as I was. I wait until we hit a bump and Elvira and I are jostled around. I pull my hands in closer, right next to my hem, which was frayed, makeing it seem like I had just fallen into that position. Grabbing a loose thread, I gently pul, ever so slowly, trying not to be noticed, until it comes out. *Yes!* I breath an incantation, a simple one that used little magic, therefore, hardly detectable to even skilled spellcasters, and tie a knot in the thread. I hear a yelp as a man is flung from the cart, soaring through the air and out of sight. Another knot, another soldier goes flying. I barely open my eyes, makeing sure Elvira saw, then wink before closeing my eyes again. I tie a few more knots, one of which loosened the ropes on mine and Elviras hands and feet, now, I just needed to wait until the right moment, and pray that Elvira doesn't get any ideas of her own. *Please don't let her move until I do.* I plead in my mind.

Re: Fantasy World

Elvira- I sat there patiently. I knew what she had in my mind and the last thing I wanted to do was move. But I kept my eyes on Maenor.

Re: Fantasy World

Mornor: I trail behind the main group playing with a little orb of black magic. I watched it bounce back and forth in a little dance as I watch it transform into an actual dancer. The black figure twirled for a few minutes as I watched in a daze then let it fade into nothing.

Re: Fantasy World

Elvira- I smile some watching Maenor make the shadow dancer. I look over towards the trees and call for some of the leaves to fly over. I swirl them in front of me and make them into a dancer as well. She flows with each move in front of me, twirling and spinning.

Re: Fantasy World

I tie on last knot, sending a soldier hurtling at Meanor. I take advantage of his surprise and stand up, balance on the shaking and bouncing cart, and get my bearings. "Kumbatia na Kuunda!" I extend my arm in Meanor's direction and a surge of bright magic catches him square in the chest. I leap from the cart, roll, scramble to my feet, and take off running. "Elvira!" I shout hoarsely "Come on!" I gasp for breath, the air stabbing and ripping at my lungs, my back screaming in protest.

Re: Fantasy World

Elvira- I jump off and I had untied my knots. I was about to go quickly after Breeze, but saw Maenor unconscious on the ground. I hesitated but then ran over to him. I put my hand on his forehead. "Maenor..." I whisper and I smile when I see his eyes open. There was still darkness swirling in his eyes so I knew he was still under the spell. But maybe seeing me closely could jar a memory. Before I could say anything else though Breeze grabbed me and dragged me away. We ran off into the woods.

Re: Fantasy World

I keep a tight hold on her arm, not quite trusting her to stay and not go back over to him. "What were you thinking?" I ask breathlessly "I know you like him and all, but that was just plain stupid!" I speed up, determined to get her out of there. She didn't deserve any of this happening to her, and if Rayne got a hold of her...no, I wasn't going to think about it. *Where could we go?* I think desperately.

Re: Fantasy World

Elvira- I blush. "I was trying to help him remember! He's under some spell and its not fair that he's under it! So I thought if he saw me up close something would jar his memory. I want to help him. Don't you?"

Re: Fantasy World

Mornor: I sit up slowly once they had disappeared and let out a little groan as I rub my chest. "Shall we go after them?" One of the thugs asked, "They can't have gotten to far." I shake my head and get to my feet, "No point. We are already running late," I say dusting off my pants, "Rayne is expecting us." I leap gracefully back onto my horse and shake my head. "They had to be crazy or something." I comment as I bring my horse up next to the cart, "They kept calling me Maenor, whoever that is."

Re: Fantasy World

"Yes, I want to help him, but I don't know how yet and unless we completely confine him both physically, mentally, and spiritually. Then I may be able to do something." I get an idea of where we could go, but it wasn't one I was to thrilled about "How do you feel about visiting a prestigious university filled with stuck-up snobs who I want to give a good kick in the pants and a- well, I don't think you need to know about that particular form of punishment."

Re: Fantasy World

Elvira- I look at her strangely. "A university? Why go there?"

Re: Fantasy World

"I've found that a good place to ferret out a bit of forbidden, hidden, or forgotten bit of information is a library, specifically this university's. Besides, don't you know that books are great for knocking people out? I'm pretty sure that what we'll have to do to even have a chance of helping Maenor." I bite my lip *I just hope Rayne doesn't do anything to him for letting me get away.*

Re: Fantasy World

Elvira- "Mmhm." I say. "Anyone you know at this university?"

Re: Fantasy World

"I've known the current headmaster for over three certuries, does that count?" I ask jokingly "I don't think he'll mind if I come back and visit my old haunt." I chuckle at the private joke "Who knows, the ghost may just come back to walk the library, searching for the book her killer used to blugeon her to death." I shake my head, laughing quietly.

Re: Fantasy World

Elvira- "Your laughing about someone getting murdered?" I say. "Or is this some joke I know nothing of?"

Re: Fantasy World

"A joke." I tell her "See, I used to go 'haunt' the library at night, and I used to have a white nightgown that I'd wear. People would catch glimpses of me rounding a corner, slipping into a nook, you know, that kind of first you see it now you don't kind of things. One day a couple of heavy books fell on my foot, and I let out a little screech. It echoed through the halls, sounding apparently much worse and creepier. Later, rumors began to spread of a ghost and the story developed." I smile "You're looking at and speaking to an undead legend."
