Re: Fantasy World11 Years AgoMaenor: I see she stumble and go to my saddlebags for a herb. She was difficult though and most likely wouldn't take it. I smile slyly to myself and throw some herbs into my mouth, chew thoroughly. Swinging her around I press my mouth to hers and feed her the herbs until she swallows. "It should soak up the poison in your system." I say as I head back over to my horse and hope on, "See you."

Re: Fantasy World11 Years AgoI gag "Did you seriously just do that?" I yell "How dare you! Grr...When I get my hands on you...you don't even want to know what I'll do!" The captain of the gaurd comes over and puts his hand on my shoulder "Are you alright? What did he do?" I shake him off and spit on the ground "He-he, he just...ugh!" I storm off, fuming. I hear him ask Meanor "What did you do?"

Re: Fantasy World11 Years AgoFaeron- I had snuck out of the ballroom and followed Breeze. So I was watching when Maenor had done that. I then walked off. He wasn't supposed to do that! Didnt he care about if Elvira found out? I heard a rustling in the bushes. I turn, my sword in hand. Then a werewolf burst through the bushes heading straight at me. I raise my sword then cut down at its shoulder. The wolf yelled in pain and swipe its paw, making me fly back into a tree. I knew I needed help. "Breeze!" I called out.----Elvira- I look to Arodon since he came back from the werewolf hunting party. "I know you just came back, but Faeron is missing. Could you find him please?" I asked worriedly.

Re: Fantasy World11 Years AgoI hurry over to where Faeron had called me. I growl when I see the were "You picked the wrong apprentice to mess with on the wrong day." I fight with it for a sec. then plunge my dagger into it's heart "Good riddance. Faeron, are you alright?" I ask

Re: Fantasy World11 Years AgoMaenor: I just laugh at the generals question, "I was making her take her medicine." I say turning my horse as I Breeze disappears in the brush, "It's the only way she would have taken it. Plus, if she hadn't she'd be staggering around and be of no use to you all. Take care, I should be back."

Re: Fantasy World11 Years AgoI was still fuming through my concern for Faeron *What gave him the right to do that? Besides, the poison was on my skin, not in me! I would have been fine! Boys, they think they know everything. They're just so impossible!* "Faeron, what are you doing out here anyways? You were supposed to stay inside, you haven't trained enough yet, I'll let you fight when I say you're ready, and een then, you'll fight beside someone. You've been training for a little while, and you just might survive in a fight against a single, matched opponent, but this" I gesture twards the fallen were "is way out of your league at the moment." I kneel down next to him and see his position "You hit the tree, didn't you? Well, we'll need to get you somewhere else, this guy's odor will be as deadly as his claws and teeth soon. Trust me, you don't want to smell it." I help him up and put my hand on his shoulder. I steer him twards where the battle had taken place "Impromptu lesson: healing."

Re: Fantasy World11 Years AgoMaenor: I don't bother changing. I just head off in the direction that the wolves had come from. Lucky for me I was probably one of the best trackers out there. I still had the herby taste in my mouth, no doubt Breeze was sulking and babbling to herself how it was unneeded. I roll my eyes, she was fine right afterwards so despite the location of the poison the herbs had done their job, they had soaked up the poison and had dissolved it just like was needed. She would have been fine without it, but she wouldn't have been as efficient without it.

Re: Fantasy World11 Years AgoI wince as the poison irritates my skin *Why does he think I needed those stupid herbs? It didn't help anyways. The poison will stay on until I wash it off, and then put a salve on it.* "Alright, Faeron, make some fire in your palm, I'm going to teach you how to make a healing flame." I create a flame in my palm and demonstrate how it looks. It glows white-ish yellow. "It'll take some practice after you've learned the tecnique. I'll walk you through it the first time, and then you'll try it on your own, I'll be here to help. You ready for the first walk-through? Or do you want to rest first?"

Re: Fantasy World11 Years AgoMaenor: I hope off my horse to touch a footprint and look around. "This way, huh?" I turn and head in that direction. Clicking my tongue as I study the next clearing I spot a tuff of fur and smile, "To easy..." following in that direction. Touching an itchy part of my skin I sigh, of course there would still be the side effects of what happened to the body. Breeze would have reminisces of the poison let on her just like I did. She'd have to take a bath but in the long run she wouldn't have any other problems. The herbs would soak up any of the poison that tried to soak into her body, which it would no doubt try to do. That's how Wolf poison works. digging in my bag I pull out bit of herb and throw it in my mouth. Despite her resistance to be helped she would just have to accept it this time. She was ridiculously to independent. She needed to learn to rely on others. I smile as I spot a broken branch. "i'll find you in no time." I say hopping gracefully onto my horse and start off. I was heading in the direction that I thought I would. So maybe they really were hiding in the valley of shadows.

Re: Fantasy World11 Years AgoI start to show Faeron how but the captain of the gaurd comes over "Ms. Wind-Soul, more werewolves and suspentions have been spotted to the east." I nod "I'll be there in a moment." I turn to Faeron "Lesson delayed, sorry." I call over one of the junior guys in the group "Jake here will escort you back to the palace. I know you want to fight, but you're not ready for an attack like this. Don't try any magic you don't completely understand, it might just kill you, or someone else." I turn to the gaurd "Jake, make sure Faeron makes it back to the palace safely, he's my apprentice, and I don't want to deal with his sister killing you if you let him get hurt." I wave to Faeron and run to the next battle, daggers at the ready *From now on, I carry a sword to these parties, no matter what.*

Re: Fantasy World11 Years AgoMaenor: I decide to rest for the night in a little grove with thick surrounding brush that would cover up any light from a fire.

Re: Fantasy World11 Years AgoA few hours later I limp back into the dining hall where everyone had taken the wounded, as well as the women and children. Everyone looks expectantly at me in the doorway "The attacks are over. There are no more werewolves or suspentions in the vincity, we're safe, for now, and we won." I announce. Cheers break out, even amung the wounded. I smile as I limp over to the line of wounded soldiers against the wall. I was tired, bloody, and wounded, but triumphant. I start at the pallet closest to the door and work my way down. There were other healers who assisted, but none were as fast as me or worked on as many people. I get up unsteadily after I do my last patient. I had had to chase wolf poison out of most of them, not to mention the multiple injuries and poison on them from the suspentions. Mother Jenean comes over to me "Get some rest, dear, you've earned it." I shake my head to clear it "I have to go and scout. We're posting scouts throughout the night, It's my watch." I head out the door and mount the horse thats waiting for me. I use the wind to help me scout, but I still do the rounds. Lone Werewolf, strait ahead. I jump off my horse and send it back to the stables. I ready my daggers and wait. It arrives and the fight begins. I deliver the final blow and hear a growl behind me. I whirl around and engage the next one, soon I'm surrounded. I send up a flare with my magic and alert the others. *They won't get here quick enough to help.* I fight with my daggers as best I can and kill many, but they're closeing in I take a deep breath and shout one word "Kuua!" A wave of light issues from me and blasts them all about a 5 feet back, killing them instantly. I sway and fall to the ground. I lay there for a while, fighting the blackness. everythings going dark when I hear a faint voice "We've found her!"

Re: Fantasy World11 Years AgoMother Jenean: The doors bust open and the Captain comes in. "How was the scouting expe- Oh my!" He comes walking in with Breeze limp and bloody in his arms. "What happened?" "She fought off and killed a whole pack of Werewolves by herself. She sent up the signal flare, but we didn't get there in time to help. When we found her, she was like this." His eyes widen "But Mother Jenean, what was incredible was that the werewolves were all about five feet away from her, and all were dead without so much as a scratch. Excepting a few, and they had deadly dagger wounds. She used powerful magic, didn't she?" I nod "I'll answer questions later, I'll need to tend to her first."

Re: Fantasy World11 Years AgoMaenor: It wasn't until the next day that I reached the valley and sighed. "damn." I whisper as I look over the brooding force that camped in the bottom of the valley. there had to be hundreds or thousands of wolves down there. It was to large to take out alone but if I at least made a dent... "I'll hit at dusk." I whisper as I prepare my stuff, "Hit while they are asleep."

Re: Fantasy World11 Years AgoMother Jenean: I send one of my girls to find Breeze's communication-sphere-ball-talky-magic-thing-a-ma-bob. I click the button and hope I get it right. "Meanor, can you hear me?" I ask loudly, almost yelling, I don't know how good this thing's volume is. I look over Breeze and figure out what exactly had caused her collapse. "Crazy, stubborn girl went and tired herself out, went scouting, fought off a pack of werewolves, threw up a magic flare, then used a highly draining word of magic!" I exclaim to those hovering nearby. I look deeper to see if there was anything I could do. I rock back on my heels "You foolish girl, what were you thinking?" I ask her, though she remains completely unresponsive.
|
|
Re: Fantasy World11 Years AgoMaenor: "S**t." I yelp as the communication spell blurts out in Jenean's voice. "what. What?" I ask, 'And speak quieter. Do you want to get me... geez. just speak quieter." I scoot down the hill and cup the communication spell only peaking over my cover to make sure no ones coming.

Re: Fantasy World11 Years Ago"Oh, sorry. Are you hunting down those werewolves? Wait, don't answer, I know you are. Just don't do anything foolish. We already have one out cold from fighting off a whole bloody pack of 'em by themselves, and we don't need another. By the way, did you know werewolves are extremely scared of fire? Intresting fact I learned a while ago." I tell him.

Re: Fantasy World11 Years AgoMeanor: "I didn't, but that's good to know." I say as I look around at the long brush and what not. I could use that.... fire huh.

Re: Fantasy World11 Years Ago"Anyhow, remember, try not to do something incredibly foolish like Bre- I mean, someone did. Well, thats all I've got to say, bye, dear." I look at it and turn it over "Um, Meanor, dearie, how do you turn this thing-a-ma-jigger off?"
|
|
Re: Fantasy World11 Years AgoMaenor: I roll my eyes and turn my end off. "right. Fire." I say as I stand and get to work, "I've got a plan."
