"Well, what she does is her buisness. For now, we need to make sure everyone is ok for the night and set up a watch. Girls on the right, guys on the left. Mess at the center near the fire. Meeting tent on the other side of the central area as the mess." I realize what I'm doing and blush slightly "Oh, I kinda went into war mode there, didn't I? Sorry, I've just never set up a camp like this without being in a millitia detatchment. Guess I'll need help figuring this thing out, huh?"

Faeron- I laugh. "Maybe so." I say-----Elvira- I look at him, a lil confused. "18. I'll be 19 in about 2 months though. Why?"

Maenor: "You know... I've lost track of how old I am..." I say, "to be so young and to have to go through this..." I sigh, "Goodnight." I lay down

Elvira- I watch him for a second. I wondered what went through his mind sometimes. "Good night." I say laying back, looking at the stars. "They're shining brightly tonight father." I say quietly to myself as I fall off to sleep.

After making sure the camp was in order I took the first watch along with a guy named Darius. I sat cross-legged in the grass with my sword drawn and bare across my knees. "I am hopeless when it comes to people." I mutter to myself.

Maenor: In the morning I rise early and have everything packed before Elvira wakes. "We need to make good progess today." I say, "Get ready to travel fast and long."

Elvira- I get up and stretch. " I can handle that." I say and I grab up my bag. It was light enough that I could travel fast with.

Maenor: "Right." I say then hand her the reins, "Get on and ride that way." I point north, "I'll be right next to you." I smile, "I'm really fast."

Elvira- "Well I don't doubt that." I say. "But it's your horse Maenor. I'm just as fast, I can run if you want."

The next morning I had everyone up and going within an hour of the sun rising. There were grumbles, but I could deal with that. I knew I wasn't going to be nominated "Leader of the Year" or anything, that was Maenor's position. We stopped at midday to rest and eat, and then continued on until nightfall, when we set up camp. At the pace we were going we would reach Haven in two, maybe three days. That is, if all went according to plan. "Please let everything go according to plan." I pray to the Goddess "I really don't think I could take much more of all these people. I don't miss the irony of the fact that you've assigned me this task when everyone knows very well that I'm not a people person." With that I go off to find Faeron, I owed it to his sister to at least check on him. Besides, he was a nice kid, I enjoyed talking to him.

Faeron- I had strayed off a lil from the group. I had a large pile of rocks in front of me. I was practicing with my fire. I created a ball of condensed fire and threw it into the air. Then I jumped and kicked it towards the rock. I turned in the air and landed on the ground on my feet and saw the ball hit the middle of the largest rock, right where I had aimed it. I smiled. I could tell I was getting better with my fire.

Maenor: "Yes, that's true." I say then smile, "But your the girl and have much more to live for. I'd rather you on her. Please just do it for me, I'll feel better." I tie my shoes and straighten, "Lets go."

Elvira- I was about to get into the whole gender argument but decided not to. It would waste time and would be pointless. I get up on Crest and smile down at him. "Better keep up." I say as Crest races off.

Maenor: I hurry off after them and easily keep up. My lifetime of running before Crest had build my stamina up well, I could run all day at this speed.

Elvira- I smile as I look over and see him. Well he was that fast then. "How much farther until we get there?" I ask him

Maenor: "A day if we keep this pace."

Elvira- "Alright then." I say but then sense trouble, but lil too late. A werewolf jumped from a tree and tackled me down from Crest. My arms were pinned down, my bow and arrows were on Crest and my sword was at my side, but with my arms pinned, I couldn't get to it. I squirmed trying to release myself as the werewolf growled at me

Maenor: "s**t," I say as I spin and tackle the werewolf off of Elvira. The smoothly drawing my bow I sent an arrow into it's head, "Stupid beast."

Finally I found someone who could tell me where he was. I smile at Chief before I walk in Faeron's direction. A couple feet from where he was I stopped and just looked on. He was getting better at controlling his fire. I watch for a few more minites before I approach. "Faeron?"

Faeron- I stop. "Yea Breeze?"-----Elvira- I get up and look at the werewolf, noticing something glowing around its neck. But as the werewolf died, the glowing faded to nothing. I ripped it off, seeing it was a moonstone pendant. "This was under a spell. A spell to complicated for these beasts. They can't understand basic magic." I say. "Now I know why I couldn't use my earth magic to help me while I was pinned down. Someone is controlling the werewolves and whoever they are, they know magic. Now if only we knew why they were targeting elves." I say, pocketing the pendant to show Luna.
