cathrine: I ha arrived early to surprise Alexander. he had finally come to his sense about the marriage and ha dumped that wannabe freakshow that had been clinging to him. melody: my eyes began to water a little when I realized that I hadn't trusted Alexander when I knew I could... I could trust him fully... yet I had been afraid. afraid that he'd waver... it wasn't him that wavered though it was me. flying out my door I hurry to find Alexander. I needed to apologize, I needed to tell him the truth! cathrine: I find Alexander and jump into his arms and kiss him, "surprise!" I say an laugh melody: I was td Alexander was in the dorms getting a room ready. "al!" I call as I enter te room then pause and fight back the urge to start crying. cathrine was wrapped in Alexander's arm, a bit of her lipstick was rubbed off on his lips, "all the preparations for cathrines arrival look done... welcome to the school." I choke out then spin on my heels and exit te room. my heart sank as I started to run. just run.

Mercedes- I look down then back up at him. He was afraid. Afraid of my reaction. My earlier reactions and feelings didn't make sense. I could still be me with him even if he was a hero. I smiled and walked up to him. Then I grabbed him and pulled him to me and hugged him. "Well that's good. Now I can use my powers around and not worry about you freaking out."

Alexander: "melody?" I whisper a little hurt, I turned to Catherine still surprised by her arrival "I I must go finish up with a few things if you'll excuse me I will return shortly, why don't you freshen up in my absence" I bow before I leave I wait until I finish closing the doors before I bolt down the hall after Melody "Mel!" I yell as I catch up to her and wrap my arms around me "Mel" I whisper as I hold her close "what's wrong?" Dusk: I smile "I'm glad"

Mercedes- "Me too." I say then let go. "So what are you powers? I mean Meadow said you disappeared into the shadows so is it something to do with them or like darkness?"

Melody: I try to struggle from his grip but soon realize it's pointless and just start crying uncontrolably. "I... I don't know what's wrong with me, Al..." I whisper through sobs, "I- I'm sorry..." I turn around so that I can bury my face in his strong chest and just start balling even harder, "Please... please don't marry her."

Alexander: "all you ever had to do was ask" I wrap my arms around her "I love you, I would do ANYTHING for you" dusk: "I don't know I guess so" I mumble

Melody: I snaked my arms around his waist and hugged him tightly as I fought to control myself, "I love you Al... I love you..." I whisper into his chest quietly. I was being selfish, I was going to cause Alexander problems in the future, but i didn't care. I couldn't stand the look of Cathrine in his arms.

Mercedes- I look at him. He seemed like he didn't care much for his powers or just that he simply didn't know what to do about them. "Ok." I got to thinking of a different subject. "Hey I got a question. Why was it you seemed nervous or afraid about my reaction to you being a hero?" I say. I'd been wondering so guessed now was as good a time as any to ask.

Dusk: "because it isn't normal or even natural to have these powers plus I have to call my dad and tell him so if you'll excuse me I have to go" I smile and hug her "I'll be right back" I say as I walk out to the patio and call my dads number "what" my dad answers " this better be important" I sigh "dad I Im a hero I have these powers and I just thought that i should tell you" I finish waiting for his reply "Son that's great news, I was hoping that you would grow into your powers now tell me what can you do?" He asked hoping "well I am a shadow user I guess I can manipulate the shadows and darkness to do whatever I want I can use them to teleport places or to hide I can convince people to do anything I want I haven't really explored that into it though yet" I confesse "I'm so proud of you son, me your sister and brother will be right over

Mercedes- I waited then saw him walk back in. "So what did your father say?"

Dusk: "um well him and my siblings are coming to town" I say still shocked Alexader: "come on I have to go tell Catherine that the wedding is off, although I'm not sure how her dad is going to react to both of her weddings getting canceled" I laugh

Alexander: I laugh hysterically "I promise" I kiss her gently

Melody: I blush from the embaressment and the kiss and I link our arms then look up at him, "Is this okay?" I ask. I was a bit to embaress to actuallyy hold hands with him because of everything that happened

Alexander: "it's perfectly fine" I smile as we walk back down the hall, I open the door allowing Melody to enter first "Catherine I'm sorry but it seems that you have made this journey for no reason" I apologiz

Cathrine: I shoota glare at Melody and throw a book at Alexadner in anger, "B*****d." I hiss, "What happens if you can't get out of it? Promises are promises. To break such an alliance would be a bad move for both you, and your misfit girl there." I give a cruel smile. It was true. My House had always backed his in decisions but if that support was gone who knows how the other Houses would be. At least breaking with the House of Music wasn't lethal. Breaking iwht the House of Water, it might very well be the end of his power.

Mercedes- "We'll isn't that good news? Or do you not have a good relationship with your family?" I say

Alexander: "it is MY dissicion and besides no matter what you do the house of power will always remain on top we do not NEED the house of waters approval or the house of water at all really with Ellie's marriage to Fintan that will give us the house of fires backing and with Darces marriage to Kalina that will give us the house of ices backing which although you may think the house of ice is small it has mass power and infuluence over all of the other lower water houses that you believe o be useless which I the end really gives us the advantage also we are on extraordinary terms with the house of the underworld, so really in the end it would the the house of water versus the rest of us! DON'T try to threaten ME with politics girl!" I hiss as I stand protectively in front of Melody Dusk: "I don't really know my family" I interjected "my father sent me away when I was very young"

Cathrine: I narrow my eyes at him, "everything needs water," I hiss, "what would you do if water just disappeared one day? Ice. Ha! Music? Nothing if the artist cannot drink to quench a dried throat. Power?" I smile cruelly at him, "what power is there if you don't live?" Melody: I grab the back of Alexander's shirt as I peer around at cathrine. She was getting anger and though she talked big she could do nothing against Alexander. Who would she direct her powers against?

Mercedes- "Oh I didn't know that. Well, maybe you can get to know them then." I say trying to sound hopeful for him. "And I'll be here to help you with them if you want."
