Melody: "Us." I repeat the word and then turn away and head into my kitchen. I needed something to drink, "Us. You thought us wasn't a good idea when you got betrothed to cathrine and i agreed. There isn't an us anymore." I pour myself some water and down it as I listen to my surroundings and notice a distressed melody. So Dusk had finally taken full control of his powers... I'd have to go sooth him, "You left and I agreed that us wasn't us anymore. There is you and there is me." I put on a jacket and start for the door, "I'm sorry," I say pausing at the door, "I don't want to leave it at just this. You're a very dear person to me... But I have other duties that I need to take care of as of now and I can't waste time." I then hurry out the door to find Dusk.

Alexander: I watched her leave just like she always did, she was always leaving never coming to me and I realized that I had always been chasing after her while she just always kept walking away. I stood up and stalked brusquely out the door, I had not only 2 weddings to plan but I also had to plan for Catherine's arrival in 2 days. Dusk: I sat and looked up at the tree tops wondering what wa wrong with me

Melody: I laugh a little when I find Dusk in the shadows, "I was wondering when it would happen!" I say, "Dusk come here."

Dusk: "what's goin on" I demand

Melody: "I'll explain in my room," I say with a smile, "Come with me!"

Dusk: Ifollow her and sit down on one of the soft couches "What is happening?" I asked

Melody: I hand him a drink and sit down across from him, "You are one of the several students at our school that is labelled 'hero'" I say warmly, "You are gifted with powers that make you different from other humans... Its a great resposibility and we have classes that help you control your powers. Dorms also, of people like us."

Dusk: "but I'm not like you!" I protest "I'm normal I'm human I'm me!" I remark "if I did have powers what am I what are my powers and what do they signify? What would me having powers do what would it change? Wait is is that why Mercedes had to change dorms?" I asked

Meadow- I was shocked. All this time, I though he was human! But if he was hero, than I could use him to make Mercedes more comfortable with being one! I had to go find her and tell her!----Mercedes- I was walking out of the school and past the garden when I heard my name being called. Was it Dusk? I turn. No, it was my sister. She ran up to me excited in the face. She grabbed my shoulder and smiled. "What's up with you?" I ask.-----Meadow- "Mercedes! He's--he's a hero!" She asked me who. "Dusk! Dusk is a hero! I saw him use his powers and disappear into the shadows of the wall over near the hero halls."-----Mercedes- I was stunned. Dusk was a hero? No wonder it was so easy for him to switch me over to his apartment. "Thanks for telling me." I say as I walk off towards Dusk's apartment to wait for him. How was I supposed to feel about this? I mean I felt happy that he was a hero who I was actually friends with, but....I had hoped I could be like a normal human again being with him. I sigh and unlocked the door with the key Dusk had given me and sit on the couch.

Melody: I shrug, "Nothing will change," I say, "Except you will have to transfer into different classes. Since you've shown resposibility living outside the school I'll grant you the ability to still move to and from the school but you must take care not to let any humans know your a hero. though I will urge you that it will become very difficult for you and it would be MUCH safer for you inside the school grounds." I smile warmly, "and yas... she is also hero. But a different kind. Your powers most likely have something to do with manipulation or darkness." I made sure to block out his powers the moment I saw him but I couldn't help but feel bad for the kid. What a rude awakening!

Dusk: "Does my dad know?" I asked after a while, my dad had sent me here the minute that I graduated the 8th grade, my older brother and younger sister stuck to homeschooling but no matter how much I had begged my dad refused to homeschool me.

Meadow- She looked a lil sad. Had it been wrong for me to tell her? I sigh and walk to my room.----Mercedes- I pull out my phone and text him: Dusk where are you? I'm at your apartment. I want to talk to you about something ok? I hit the send button and wait

Melody: "I believe that he expected this to happen," I say nodding, "Of course, i'll have to contact him and inform him. Your father is very well known throughout the world of heros. It's no wonder you developed powers..."

Dusk: "My dad well-known? How? Who, who is he? How is he so well-known and why?" I asked as I glance down at my phone, texting her back "I'll be there ASAP"

melody: "you shoud probably ask him about that," I say, "if hes kept it from you theremust be a reason behind it."

Mercedes-Hurry please. I text back and turn on the TV.

Dusk: "whatever I have to go" I say standing up I leave quickly and race home "Mercedes?" I call out

Mercedes- I get up and walk over to him. "So um....Meadow tells me your a hero. Is...is she right?"

Melody: I smile as I watch him hurry away and go to my window, "You two can take care of each other," I say watching him hurry across the garden and out the gates, "You two can protect eachother..." I think of when my grandmother said the same thing to me about Alexander... "It's not a one way road though my dear," She had said, "You must both work to accomplish the goals that you have decided on." It was then that Alexander had walked in, "One cannot do all the work; you must be strong and trust in him. Melody, it is you that may not waver or you shall never have happiness."

Dusk: "Ya it is" I manage to sigh worried about her reaction Alexander: Catherine was to arrive in less then 2 days time, I organized her room and made sure that fresh lilys were placed daily into a vase on her nightstand by her bed. I tried my best to tune out the world, avoid thinking to much about anything, mainly I was just trying to keep myself busy, to distract myself from thinking too much about Melody.
