Meadow- "No, I haven't. Your the only one I've seen this morning other than my sister."

Ellie: "great well thanks anyway" I smile "So hows that whole sister thing going anyway?"

Meadow- "So I guess Melody told you about it." I say then sigh. "I'm trying my best with her. She keeps saying how she doesn't want to be one of us and be under our rules. She doesn't want to be treated like a hero, a Shadow especially. She wishes she were still human."

Ellie: "I would too if I were in her shoes" I pointed out

Meadow- "Why?" I ask.

Ellie: "The human world is all she's ever known, its what she is comfortable with, it's safe, it's home to her, it was the only place she belonged, and now suddenly she has been thrust into this world that isnt even hers and into this role that she doesnt know how to play. She's lost, scared, and alone, she doesnt know what to do, and she hates what she will have to become in order to belong, in order to fit in, you remember what I was like right when I remembered who my family was, I had been living like a semi-normal teenage american girl for the past 6 years and then I was suddenly thrust back into my old ways of being my brothers shadow, it scared me now imagine being her who never even knew she had powers much less would have to become your shadow, being a normal shadow sucks but just getting your powers AND being shoved into the role of shadow sucks even more"

Meadow- I look down. "I didn't even think about it like that." I say. "I thought she would just need time. That she'll realize sooner or later this is what she has to do. To slip into her role, I guess." I sigh. I felt horrible now.

Ellie: "Our way of life isn't ment for everybody" I smile "Don't feel bad for not realizing this, not everybod thinks the way I do, because they havent lived the way we have" I smile gently

Meadow- "Yeah I just wish I could've realized it." I say. "My biggest worry for her though is marriage. Now that we've been recognized as a Lady and Shadow, my parents are looking for suitors for us. Which I think will make her even more angry. I believe she already has a crush on that human, Dusk. They went to the dance together."

Ellie: "A human? really?" I asked intrigued "Wait Dusk isn't that they punk kid in our Bio med class?" I asked "She has a crush on him?" I smiled "That's sweet, I just hope your parents are understanding of her feelings" Dusk: I cleaned up from work and changed into my uniform and booked it to school.

Meadow- "Yep thats him." I sigh. "I'm not sure if she does or not, but they spent alot of time together. But I don't know if my parents will approve. They would open to hearing her thoughts on hero suitors, but if it's a human.....I just don't know. I mean, I'm open to any suitor they bring in for me. I'll spend time with him and see if I like him or not. But her, I don't know."----Mercedes- I ran down the stairs of the dorm, my hair still kinda wet. Running outside, I almost ran into Dusk. "Dusk!" I say skidding to a stop. "Hi. I haven't seen you in a while." I say smiling.

Dusk: "Hey" I smile blushing some, ruining my image of not caring but whatever "How have you been?" I ask giving my half smile smirk like I usually do Ellie: "who knows, you can never tell can you?" I asked

Meadow- "No, you can't. Maybe my parents will be considerate."----Mercedes- "Umm, good." I say, trying to smile even though I was lying, what with the whole hero mess. "And you?"

Dusk: "I'm alright, hey I thought your dorm was over there?" I ask

Mercedes- "No I switched." I said then tried to come up with a reason. "My parents wanted me closer to my sister, so now we're room mates."

Dusk: "Oh cool" I nod

Mercedes- "Ha, not really." I say grimacing.----Meadow- I look out the window. "Look, she's with him again." I say

Ellie: "They look cute together" I smile Dusk: "Well if you want I'm pretty sure I could convince the school to let you come stay with me, I mean I do have an extra room if you want it?" I kinda ramble on

Meadow- "Yeah." I smile some sadly.----Mercedes- "That would be awesome. But...I doubt that Melody girl would let me do it. Unless your very convincing to the school." I say smiling

Dusk: "I can be VERY convincing" I smile "I can convince anybody of anything, how do you think I got into this school? it's just a little talent I have, I can also hide from people really well, I live in the shadows you could say, it's just something I've always been able to do" I smile shyly "I had never told anybody that before" Ellie: "Well let's just see where this goes"
