Alexander: "True but your family only has a daughter, and so does the Melody's house and I am already engaged to Melody." I point out. Ellie: I dry off and change clothes, "Fintan, you don't have to sleep on the floor, I can sleep there afterall I am the reason why my bed is wet and anyway if you really pushed the issue I am sure that there is plenty of space on the bed for the two of us to fit" I point out, "Please don't sleep on the floor"

Fintan: I give her a look that say 'you are not sleeping on a wet bed and i really don't think its a good idea for us to sleep in the same bed' then say "Go to sleep."

Ellie: I sigh and crawl into bed. I wasn't going to argue I was too tired, my body was still shocked from the punishment Alexander had given me and I passed out before my head even hit he pillow.

Fintan: I roll onto my back and try to get comfortable which really wasn't working but I ignore it. Its not like I was going to get any sleep tonight anyways. My memories still flashing with pictures of the blazing burns that Darce now had on his body. Melody: I sigh as I look over the marks on Darce. They were really bad. One of them looked like it was a second degree burn. it might scar if I didn't treat it fast enough. Cathrine: "My family is more powerful them Melody's" I say smiling at Alexander, "it would benifit you're house more to merge with mine would it not?"

Alexander: "That my dear is where you are wrong" I grin at her "Melody's house may be small, and considered weak but they have ablitlies that are far greater and far more powerful than anything you or I could ever do" I smirk "Besides I am not marrying Melody because of family benefits. Since I am head of one of the most powerful families, and since my parents died my grandparents have left me to decide who I and my sister are to marry." I smile Ellie: I slept deeply but was haunted by nightmares, they wouldnt leave me alone. I couldnt escape them

Cathrine: I make a face and lean against a tree, "I refuse to think that she is as powerful as you say." I say a bit angry, "Only a few in her House are actually powerful. the rest of them just sing songs or know how to play an insturment. Everyone in my House knows how to control high magintude magic." Melody: "damn." I say standing next to the sleeping Darce. He didn't look good but at least his wounds were cleaned and wrapped correctly now, "Really. This punishment wasn't needed was it?" i shiver when i think of what Alex might do to Ellie and if he would ever do it to me if I disobeyed him. He wouldn't strike me? Would he?

Alexander: "I didnt chose to marry her because of her power or the power of her house or any of that" I respond. "That's not why I picked to marry her"

Cathrine: "Then why?" I ask trying to remain calm, "I'm prettier and richer." I was starting to get a bit to angry. Why did he like that worthless filth over me?

Alexander: "Because I love her, she sees life differently than others, she sees the beauty in it and she knows how to make me laugh and smile like nobody else can, it has nothing to do with whose prettier or richer, but trust me she is way prettier than you on the inside and THAT is where it counts..." I smirk

Cathrine: I glare at Alex for a few minutes until I've made up my mind and give him the kindest smile I can, "To bad she's probably scared of you because of how you've been treating Ellie." I say and look at my nails, "She's rather weak when it comes to those things huh. It must have to do with her past. When THAT insodent happened." I smirk right back as him then lean in and kiss him cheek, "If she runs off because she frightened know that i'm here. I'll be a strong partner for the House of Power's Lord." I then walk away. He would notice it soon enough. That Melody was not made for his house. She was too weak.

Alexander: I sigh and look down "I Know" I whisper to myself. I loved her but she did not love me back, in fact Im pretty sure she was in love with another, it upset me but there was nothing I could do, she did not love me and she was not a part of our ways, she didnt understand them. I loved her but there was nothing I could really do for her, Icould shelter her as best I could but that was really about it. I sighed as I exited and headed back to my quaters for some sleep

Melody: I sat down next to Darce and rested my head on the side of the chair, "Alex," I whispered softly to myself, "i'm trying to understand. But I've never had a Shadow. I don't know what it's like." I don't even bother moving as I drift to sleep. Cathrine would no doubt wake me when she got here and since she and Alex were both staying in the House of Music I didn't worry about her running off to stay in some other dorm. The closed she was to Alex the better it was for her.

Alexander: I woke up the next morning and quickly changed and left to see Elizabeth. When I got to her room I noticed that she was still asleep but that she had been moved over to Fintans bed and that there were blankets and pillows on the floor. I also heard the shower running. I made my way over to Elizabeth and checked to make sure I hadnt left any marks anywhere.

Fintan: I got out of the shower and wrapped a towel around myself, "dang. Underwear." I say entering the room again and pause when i see Alex, "uh.. hey."

Alexander: "So you slept on the floor" I pointed to the sheets and smirked a little. "I was just checking and making sure that I didn't leave any perminate damage"

Fintan: "Well I wasn't about to let her sleep in a wet bed," I say, "and you left marks. Just not physical ones."

Alexander: "So did you" I point out. I glance down at Elizabeth "You should have seen her when she was ten, tough as nails this one, would put up and go through anything that I threw at her. Never a complaint or arguement, I knew it hurt but it was what I was told to do, so I did what I had to, then our parents died, and I wanted so much to be there for her but they took her away from me, I wasn't able to see her again until now, and now I'm sure she'll hate me for as long as she lives" I smile down at her "Im just glad that I got to see her smile one last time, before I force her into something, if you won't accept her hand then I'm forced to look elsewhere, and the other houses are well less forgiving, less accepting and more, brutal. my punishments would look like rainbows and butterflies compaired to theirs" I shudder at the thought. "our grandparents wont hear of her NOT being wed to anyone" I sigh

Fintan: I let out a small sigh. I knew very well what the other Houses were like. I was scared shitless to send Darce to one of them. the House was water was at least his element so it wouldn't effect him as much but they would still serve harsh punishments, "It's not up to me." I say pulling on a shirt and underwear, "I told her i wouldn't force her into anything. I'm tired of deciding everyone's fate for them. It's all up to her now." Melody: I wake up still on the chair and grumble as I stretch, "Morning already?" I look down at Darce's wounds and smile. They were mostly all healed now. Nothing bad. He was luck. Fire wasn't an easy punishment.

Alexander: "you're the one who told her to be less unruley, honestly you haven't decided anyone's fate I have Catherine was right you're a weak leader, take charge Fintan, I was gone 6 years and look at what happened to my sister, you're the head of your family quit kicking back and letting others decide" I roll my eyes "I can either marry her off to you or to Darce or to some other family and if I marry her off to Darce then either you or I am going to have to marry Catherine and I'm already engaged and if I marry her off to some other family well she'll have to say goodbye not only to her freedom but to her entire life as well, and I don't want to see her that unhappy at least with you shell be somewhat happy"

Fintan: I look at Ellie and then at Alex, "I don't think she would be happy with me." I comment, "She doesn't even like me. I can't live like that and neither can she. If she wants to marry me then let her pick but I will have no say in it. I will not decide her happiness for her." I pull on pants and then shoes, "And if you're going to marry her to Darce I suggest you tell me quickly. Cathrine is going to eat me alive if I don't give Darce back to her without a reason."
