Ellie: "Who is Cathrine?" I ask "And what does she mean to Darce?" I ask worriedly

Fintan: "Cathrine is the daughter of the Lord of the House of Water," I state, "Her father is the Lord of all Water magic in Ireland. He's a very powerful man. He and my father have been planning on Cathrine and Darce's marrage every since it was known that he possessed an unnatural amount of magic in the Water element. Darce is not an ordinary Hero." I pause and sigh, "He is both a curse and a blessing to the family. To have two lords born to one house is a great honor. If Darce becomes Lord of Water and I become Lord of Fire our House would become unstoppable." I hated to say it but Darce didn't deserve to be sold into another family like a slave. He would be Lord but he would still not be happy. Not with Cathrine clinging to him and her father pressuring them for a son to make the 'bond' of their marrage complete. "Cathrine is Darce's future."

Ellie: "And she plans on coming here" I whisper, I see his startled reaction and just shake my head "You honestly can't tell me that you didn't think that I hadnt overheard you and Darce earlier?" I hiss as tears fill my eyes.

fintan: well shot I didn't mean to make her cry. gettin up I sit down next to her and clear my throat a little, "listen," i say, "Darce... he's never really been into girls. I meant he like them and he's not exactly innocent in the ways of physical attraction, he's actually quite experienced.. but uh anyways like I said he's not really one to go for a girl unless A- they come onto him and he's being nice or B- he actually likes them. as for cathrine, she A. as for you, you seem like a B to me." I clear my throat again and then go back over to my bed, "I don't usually help my brother out when it comes to girls. I'd much rather keep them to myself, but I think I'll root for you two. Cathrine is a bit overbearing though. so I'd watch out."

Ellie: I smile weakly "thanks" I sniffle as I dry my eyes. "I'll do my best to do whatever I can to help Darce" I smile "your a good brother you know that?" I smile gently "not many people can say that they have such a good brother"

Fan: I roll over in my bed and pull the blanket over me, "He's my shadow." I say quietly, "He's no more to me then a slave that has my face." I close my eyes and drift to sleep.

Ellie: "Its sad that brotherhood is lost to your family, instead you push each other as far away as possible, I wonder why?" I sigh as I slip into sleep. I wake up the next morning and start to get ready for school, YAY It's friday. I cheer to myself

Fintan: I'm up and out the door before Ellie had even woken up. I head down to school and practice in the firing ranges before class. My head was clouded which usually meant I was getting sick but in this case I didn't think it was because of a cold. I was getting sick of Darce and his casual manners here at this 'school'. Narrowing my eyes I singe one of the targets then decided to head down to the post office. Father needed a decision of whether or not to send Cathrine. I would tell him to send her. Darce needed to learn his place under the furture Fire Lord and as Water Lord he would learn that.

Ellie: I run into Darce on my way to class "Hey Darce" I smile "The dance is tomorrow are you as excited as I am?" I asked cheerfully

Darce: I smile gently, "I'm very excited," I wink at her and then hear someone call my name. It's a girl from my class, "Oh, sorry Ellie I should probably go. I'll see you later though alright?" I wave and hurry to catch up with the group of girls that wait for me, "Darce did you do the homework? Did you study for the test tomorrow?" I smile and nod. They all squeal in complain, "Study with us! you can teach us!" I laugh "Alright, we can today after school."

Ellie: I laughed, I hoped they realized that tomorrow was Saturday and we didn't have school or maybe they were just saying that so that Darce would study with them? who knew? I shrugged and headed off to first period. I sat down in my seat and waited for meadow and Fintan to get here.

Fintan: I skipped 1st. I didn't really want to here about Darce and Ellie ad drama

Ellie: Fintan never showed up and I began to grow worried, I excused myself from class and headed back to the dorms "Fintan?" I called as I entered our room "Are you okay?" I asked "I didn't see you in class so I got real worried about you"

Fintan: well this was awkward. I was in the dorm room with another girl from our class and we had just gotten to the good part when Ellie walks in. We were in the shower too. "Er..." I say through he curtains covering the girls mouth, "I'm fine. Just didn't feel like going to class."

Ellie: I sighed exasperatedly "You're going to get into so much trouble, you're completely useless, does nothing sink into that thick head of yours" I growl as I storm out of the room. I head to the hero hall and enter the arena and start to work on my marial arts releasing small amounts of electricity to try and calm my nerves down.

Fintan: Sighing I roll my eyes and get out of the shower. I wasn't in the moody anymore. "Get out." I say the smile and kiss her cheek, "We can continue some other time." Girls were stupid. She smiled agreed and then left like a trained dog. Pulling on my clothes I flop down on the bed.

Meadow- I came out of the bathroom that was next to the arena and saw Ellie practicing. She looked angry. "You know I didn't feel like going to class either. Wanted to get some practicing done. But something tells me you have another reason for being here other than just that." I say walking up to her.----Mercedes- I look around the room. My sister wasn't here which was unusual for her.

Ellie: "Boys can be so irritating" I growl "I hate it how Fintan just acts like he's better than all of us, and I hate it how he treats Darce, even if that is how his family is raised it's still wrong" I kick the dummy in the side shooting electricity all throughout it

Meadow- "Maybe he acts like that for a reason. Maybe he's insecure or something. And yes I don't like how their family raised but it is their family." I say trying to calm her down. "Nice kick by the way."

Darce: I had finally gotten away from the crowd of girl and ventured into the swimming area. No one was around and wouldn't be for hours so I neatly stripped and dove gracefully into the pool. I loved water. Fintan: I decide to go hunt down Darce. Tell him that I was planning on persuing Ellie. He was a smart kid so he would know since he's the Shadow he would have to obey plus Cathrine was on her way he wouldn't be able to do anything with Ellie anyways.
