Poets Asylum Forum World Poetry Movement national..

I've come here to ask a question, the world poetry movement national contest sent me a letter saying I've been passed onto the semi-finals, however some think it is nothing but a scam as others think it's not. I'm not sure and I'm rather tired of the split on answers I get. If it's a scam I'd rather not even mail in the artist's proof and let it go. It says it's was out of thousands that I was chosen to be able to go to the semi-finals so if it's not I figure why not continue on? What do you guys think? Do you know anything of it?
