World Poetry Movement national contest a scam or no?

I've come here to ask a question, the world poetry movement national contest sent me a letter saying I've been passed onto the semi-finals, however some think it is nothing but a scam as others think it's not. I'm not sure and I'm rather tired of the split on answers I get. If it's a scam I'd rather not even mail in the artist's proof and let it go. It says it's was out of thousands that I was chosen to be able to go to the semi-finals so if it's not I figure why not continue on? What do you guys think? Do you know anything of it?

I'm not sure what to think, I got the same letter and everything. After the letter they never sent anything else so I don't know whether to fully believe in it's liability
