Re: thank you8 Years AgoWell, I soon as I figure out how many people wish to play and what they are look for in the game. It will make things a lot easier for me.
Basically, how normal game works is everyone sit around a table the GM tells the backstory of the world and whatnot. Players (or PCs) create their character to fit in the world. Then the go on adventures and such. A basic outline looks like this: GM tells players what is happening. Players decide their actions GM tells them what the outcome is (or rolls dice for a random outcome) Maybe this will help. Here is an example of a game: GM: You guys come to a stone block with a lever in the middle the door ahead looks barred shut. Around you are bones and the stone wall paved in blood. Player 1: i do not like this we should just leave. Player 2: Is there a possible message in the blood? GM: You can check it. Player 3: I will pull the lever! GM: Player 3 you pull the lever. Player 1: No! You idiot! I told you not to pull things that looks shady! Player 2: So, what about the blood? Gm: Right, the blood says "Get the hell out!" Play 1: S**t. GM: The barred door swing open and out pops a large troll. Standing ten feet tall. Player 1: Great, look what you did. Player 3: My axe is ready! |
