Our writings are the best gifts of all! Forum Something else
Something else16 Years AgoJust written a review, and I realise the "Add Notes" facility is missing. This used to be one of the most useful features when doing in depth reviews. To be able to select a word or phrase in the piece and add a note was so helpful, not only to the reviewer, but the author as well.
Suppose that means back to cutting and pasting blocks of script into the review, add the comment and hope the author feels it justifies searching through pages of writing he's (she's) posted to see what the reviewer is babbling about. Sometimes changes are good on a site, but these seem to have been done with no forethought what-so-ever!!! Mr. Angry of Dijon... |

[no subject]16 Years AgoI miss the add notes feature also. This seemed like a much nicer way to point out suggestions, especially when I was not that familiar with the author.

[no subject]16 Years AgoThank you both for pointing that out as well!
I did use that application a few times while reviewing longer stories or chapters! I also found it very useful, because when you want to point out a grammar or spelling mistake in a longer piece, it is not always easy to describe were the mistake is made. Well, this is going to be a long letter to Charlie ... The draft will be up here today, I'll probably will have to post it in the evening, because I have a very important appointment and a long drive ahead this afternoon! Please keep your fingers crossed for me! Well, see you all later! Denise |
