NEEDED: DIVERSE WRITERS Forum gender bias in medicine

I'm a 60 year old,, disabled, cis female who has a personal, professional, and research-interest in gender bias in medicine; specifically the implicit stereotypes or beliefs about female patients AND the complicit biases and prejudices that translate into diagnostic and treatment discrimination, gaslighting, gaps in medical research. Unequivocally the research suggests that these biases and discriminatory practices ultimately add to the individual and collective quality of life and economic burdens of distrust, decreased functional capacity, alarming rates of chronic, immunological, joint, cancer, reproductive, and cardiovascular diseases among women. I have some creative essays and memoir-type pieces that I can and will post here if appropriate. Just thought I would use this post to introduce myself and how I see myself or experiences as perhaps consistent with your expectations. Thanks.
