Message in a Bottle Forum Save The Hero (a poem I wrote)..

I'm no super hero
I'm just an ordinary girl.
I'm not number one, I'm number zero
The hidden rock in a pile of pearls

I'm not the girl to look up to
I'm not the girl with the happy smile
I'm sorry that all of this is true
I've been like this for a while
 
I can't save anyone's life
I have no special powers
My own pain is like a knife
I'm sorry I'm a coward

I'm not super girl, I can't do it all
I try, but I can't always help you
But I will always accept a call
When you don't know what to do

I'll always try to help you, in any way
I'll gladly give it a whirl
But I can never really save your day
I'm not super girl

Wow. i really like this poem and i think we all feel like this at one time or another. You give it your best, even though your best wont make it. Very well written and a glimpse into how people truly feel at times.
