Sorry I haven't been on in awhile.  I just got a new job.  I've been job hunting as we (my husband, my son and I) moved to Helena, Montana three weeks ago. 

Anyway, I started my new job today.  I am a  caregiver/CNA for a home health agency where I go to the clients' homes and assist them with whatever they may need done.  This can be anything to ADLs (Activities of Daily Living), to light house keeping, shopping, escorting to drs. appointments, or any thing else the client needs done that they can't or have trouble doing.

I think this is going to be better than working in a nursing home or long-term care facility.   I don't anticipate as much stress with this job.  You are basically one-on-one as opposed to 20-40 residents in a nursing home.  I think I will be happier in this type of work.  Plus I like working with these people.  There seems to be clients who are a little more independent than say in a nursing home.  Although there are probably some who need more assistance than others.  I just haven't come to them yet.  But then, today is only my first day on the job.
