In threads of spider silk/you sow promise and deciet
Hope to belief/I got stuck and I cannot escape
now you display/the fool I become/now in a mental retreat
I struggle/yearn to break free/
In your eyes/is the discontent I see/
Here is I stay/beckoning silent cries/
To collect dust/wait for the spider to bring my demise

Now I see the empty corpses/beside in lumps of gray
Empty they were/like the promises you say
If I known the snare/would be at the end
I would/withdraw/emotionally rend
Instead I am stuck/snared in your web
But I now know/I am not the only one/but it don't end

What? No one even bothered to reply?

What kind of people are you? Trailer trash?

(I felt like saying that word)

Great. Largely ignored--if I just try something new.

I liked it.  It's an interesting concept and one I think about all the time.  I have a lot of spiders that live in our house with us, and though I don't mind them being around, their homes are a bit gross sometimes.  LOL.  Still, I didn't have any problems with flies in the summer, so I guess I can give them some slack.

I used Spiders and webs as sensory imagery. Used in a metaphorical sense.

Spiders are interesting, still a bit creepy.
I would have a major phobia for spiders if I had come across some the size of dogs or the size of an elephant. Ooh. You won't question me if I walk around with a sword to my side every minute if those things existed.

It's very visual - full of imagery! And with the spiders - it freaks me out because I do have a spider phobia haha.
