Sacred

Limestone solid front
Support of arcs and pillars
Hallowed halls of faith
A place to find small solace
And some happiness and joy

Stands up to the elements
A safe harbor for many

Part C is a alliteration challenge. Using the letter R write a chofu. All words must begin with the letter R and NO adding extra words that do not begin with a "r" in order to make sense of the chofu either.
Rain ruined rendezvous revokes restful reunion. Recoiled resentment replaces rancid role.

Part D is a "Free Choice" tanka challenge.

Sandy gritty toes
Beach swept days and starry nights
Ocean tides pull us
Our sea of endless beach time
Just to end on Labor Day
