I Love Haikus! Forum Challenge #11

Hello All!

Due to this weeks mishaps at the site we did not get to be as active we normally are about posting and reviewing. Now with all that behind us, we should be ready for challenge #11. The first person to submit their challenge will be featured for the resst of the week. Thank you to all who read and review, and posted during that scary time here at the Cafe. Okay, back to work!!! LOL We will have three parts.


Part A is "With These Three Words". For all that are new, this is a challenge where I give you three words and you must use them as you see them spelled in your haiku. But you can you them in any order. Your three words are:

1.) Unhewn
2.) Excavate
3.) Vacuous

Part B is photo related. You must write a haiku/senyru based on the photo below.



Part C is a alliteration challenge. All your words must begin with the letter M when writing your haiku/senyru for this challenge.


There is no time limit for these challenges, but next Wednesday, we will begin challenge #12. Please check this thread for all links to submissions to this challenge. I will post them here instead of a group PM. Send me your link and I will add you to the list of links. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask me via a PM.

Which command do you use to embed the poem like that? I am still learning how this site works.

Here's what you do... when you open a story or poem, there's a little box on the right with the info and stats on the piece. There's 3 tabs on that box. Click the one that says "share" then "link to poem" just copy and paste whatever link they give you into the post or PM and waa-laa... you get a pertty lil picture to go along with your link LOL
