I Love Haikus! Forum Suggestion

My style of Haiku does not allow me to use the words for the challenges you have. I find the long words too restrictive for my creative process. Perhaps an alternative would be a theme, or subject. For example, "animals", "food", etc.

That would allow me to unleash my creativity. I'd appreciate input from the other group members.

Thank you for informing me Benjamin of your concerns and reservations about the groups challenges. You bring up a interesting point. We all write haikus differently and should have a choice to use the three words or a pre-selected topic. I will do my best to accomadate all of the members of this group. I like your idea. I personally want to use both ideas of a pre-selected topic or three pre-chosen words. What is the input of everyone else?
