Re: insecurities6 Years AgoOriginally posted by aliyahblack Im often told that my writing is too depressing...is this true? and if so is it a bad thing? There is nothing wrong with it. It can be reflective of your headspace or simply what you enjoy writing. When I was highschool, all my writing was very depressing but simply led to more balanced poetry later on in my life. So write what you want to write |

Re: insecurities5 Years AgoOriginally posted by aliyahblack Im often told that my writing is too depressing...is this true? and if so is it a bad thing? Honestly, I think that's fine. I mean, I like to build up feelings for a character then kill it off giving the protagonist motivation to end the antagonist's life. Also, The protagonist can be evil, that's kind of fun to do, gives you a different perspective of the story. -hope this helped. :) |
