Cat O'nine	Damn, y'all 17 Years Ago Funny how s**t happens, isnt it? well, that little assignment turned into the beginnings of a book for me. not exactly sure why that is, but hell, i will take it as a good thing. but since the inspiration started here, in this group, i think its fair to keep it here as well. Now i am going to freely admit that i am not a religious person, though its not hard to find a few things out. rightly so, i am going to need some help with this whole book. maybe not just religion, but also some general plot and character development. any ideas out there? Cat O'nine	[no subject] 17 Years Ago well, i could definately use the help with that. I have always had the hardest time with the edit stuff, i get to reading and just fall back into the story. I have had a few tell me to start sending things off, to get my feet wet with print and all... so i am pretty sure i am going to need your help with that. i imagine the short stories would be first, not sure if they follow the same format.
Jinx	[no subject] 17 Years Ago Well, I tend to edit while I read... but only other people's stories. I have trouble editing my own, which is why I have a friend of mine doing it because the last time I did a self-edit, it took me 7 years! ;) Ok, maybe 5 or 6! LOL I've been formatting one of Jesse's stories, and doing a little editing along with it. It's payment for her designing my book cover for The Vampyre Prophecy. As far as formatting goes... There are different ways to do it, depending on where it's being sent, and everybody wants it done differently, of course. But I'm a whiz at it, so if you have questions, need help with the how-to, or whatever, let me know.
Cat O'nine	[no subject] 17 Years Ago well, after much prodding by Darren, i think i am going to be sending some things off on sunday, and hope for a short story or two to get picked up. I think we are going to give it a shot with TRAINING first, maybe a couple others...though that one seems to be one of the perrenial favs ((at least off my board, lol)). Needless to say i am a-skeered to all hell about it. Since i have really only been writing about 8 months now, this is likely my first attempt to cross that line into actual writer rather than 'perver with a keyboard'. so for all those that are reading this, cross your fingers for me!!! I think i am going to hold back on the novels till i build up more confidence, and have the longer works a little cleaner.
