Anyone here going to do it?

And do you think it needs to be a novel to technically participate? I was thinking a novel-length collection of shorts (interrelated or not) or a framed narrative sort of thing might be easier than an actual novel in such a short time.

I think that as long as they tie together it counts. A series of random shorts with no underlying theme or connection wouldn't really count (not in my eyes at least) but if all the stories took place in the same city or were reactions to the same events or something like that I think it'd not only count but rule.

But don't dismiss the idea of a 50k word story. I pulled it off once and if I can do it anyone can.

Will I be playing this year? I think I'm gonna try. No promises on any sort of progress, though. Thank you, school.
