Creative Poetry Forum father
father6 Years AgoOH! Father, you looked like a lion.
And sang Telugu poems with great élan
Condemning injustice was your nature
You had an incomparable stature
You were good at Sanskrit literature
You were endowed with wonderful physical feature
You had a curly hair with a handsome race
You retorted your opponents
at great pace
You were a king among the contemporaries
And used to sing even among the little boys
You lived a carefree life
Your brain was as sharp as a knife
I am proud of your great honour
And trying to carry your inimitable banner
You were a connoisseur of art
Music and literature were your inseparable part
You were so kind at heart
We rarely find the man of your sort
Your sudden demise was unredeemable loss
Nearly 38 years did pass
I am a no match to you
