Re: New Words 11/11/12 12 Years Ago   Howling Dog Lane  On Howling Dog Lane – Demon dogs howl – Fills the mind with fear – With each low growl – Steer clear the shadows – Stay in the light – Or lose your soul –   In the darkness of night –   Ferocious dogs – Howl in the night – In the factory on the hillside –   Hidden from sight – Cringing I walk –   Past the haunted growls – Woo woo echoes – A pair of screech owls –   Faded is the sign – Telling all to beware – No sign needed –   With howling in the air – Demon dogs on guard – Enter not here – All who cross its threshold – Will suddenly disappear –   The provocative owner – Struts all around town – An evil-eyed falcon – She wears like a crown – I see slimy fluid dripping –   From its long black beak – My heart stopped –   As it trickled down her cheek –   Sweet femininity –   Definitely not her forte – She’s much like a viper –   Searching for prey – She knocks at your door –   For something to eat – With a low growl – She calls out Trick or Treat –   Ferocious dogs are puppies –   Fighting stuffed toys – Nine pups sitting on the PA – Three girls and six scrappy boys – She is a tom-boy, oh yes she is – But not tonight – She’s a provocative demon –   On this Halloween night –   The venom dripping bird – Looked like the real deal – Constructed in the factory –   Made all the kids squeal – Lyndsey will never forget –   Her first Halloween game – Children on Howling Dog Lane –   All feel the same –
